Udogie did not get injured as a result of one game. He played every game possible and pretty much every minute of every game. Overplayed and exchausted, suffered a soft-tissue injury. Like 10+ other players this season.

But ofc, every single one of them is just a coincidence.
You truly are a genius. Just try not to pull a muscle, trying to squeeze out an excuse for next Ange fuckup. Cause he cannot do a thing wrong. All just unfortunate coincidences for what you have excuse pre-made (Y) :D

I mean, literally the post before this I named 3 things he’s got wrong and one those he’s done 3 times.

But don’t let that stop you from making things up to try and justify your emotional waffle.

Problem is now have we left it too late? Who the hell comes in. Is any manager going to jump ship from their club in February, seems unlikely so its Terzic or a caretaker and no manger names jumping out although i guess literally anyone is an improvement. They really fucked up not chaging in November, anyone that wasnt blinkered could see what was happening from March onwards. We're trapped in a spiral now.

Thinking Rafa, he is out of a job. Caretaker role would be a bit Harry Redknapp style.

On what basis does levy think we can go to anfield and get a draw or win with this squad . Not only that but then go to Villa and win . And even if we do , how does that change our league form , is he happy to win the caraboa cup and get relegated ?? Nothing makes any sense .
he doesn't (in my opinion). They are boxes to be ticked one way or another and then the board decides?

I assume we'll win on Thursday and qualify for the last 16 of EL but after that it'll get nasty. I think we'll lose 3 games in a row, including a hammering at Anfield. So we'll more than likely be out of both cups and be in an even worse position in the league in 2 weeks time. All our eggs will have to go into the EL basket.

Literal quote from Ange from his post-match press conference -

"We created enough opportunities to win the game".
So let's look xG -
Tottenham 1,27
Leicester 1,40

Yes, yes - I agree that xG is not a magical stat and it can mislead in some instances. For example - when one team scores early and other is chasing a goal for like 85 minutes but game ends in 1:0 still - it is likely that losing team has higher xG as they have put lot of resources into finding equalizing goal.
But fucksake - yesterday - first 32 minutes we were 0:0 against relegation-fighting side at home.
And for last 40 minutes we were BEHIND in a game against relegation-fighting side.
But even IN THAT CONTEXT they produced more danger across 90 minutes.

And then manager comes out and repeats his catchphrase of "We created enough". He literally has said this after 10+ games we havent won this season across all comps.

Does he have ANY grasp on real world at this point? Cause everyone with two eyes saw that we created very little threat yesterday. Nowhere near enough.

I don't get the complaints about a lack of signing. Why do we need to sign players at this point?

As you are probably well aware, Ange ALWAYS WIN in his second year. He said so himself. No condition about needing the best players. It's a rule. And if we are going to win something anyway, why should we spend more money? We might as well put out any players and save the money for later. Remember, Ange always wins in his second year.

And unless he's a terrible coach, he isn't getting relegated either. So the Ange in supporters are a bit strange in my opinion. Are they starting to doubt Ange's first Law? That he always win something in the second year? What are you so nervous about?

I get the impression it’s because the alternatives are horrible. It’s going to be Mason until we can try and get someone in the summer.
That scenario is akin to a homeless person turning down an offer from the council of a 2 bedroom maisonette because the garden area isn't appealing.

Choose ANY person that has managed a premier league club in the last 5 years, they would all be better than this clown.

That includes Ryan Mason.

Yeah i'd take either at this stage. Just get the players to do the basics would be a start. It would still be grim but likely enough to get us up to near 40 pts.
I think we hit 40s regardless of manager but I get your concern. Romero and VDV should make a massive difference. Words can't describe how poor Dragusin is on the ball. We should not be playing possession based football with him in the team

I am actually pretty convinced we will go down as well but the thing that may save us is how bad the clubs below us are.

Also, VDV and Romero may be able to scrape us a few draws, at least enough for us to stay up.

I think it’s going to be very tight though.
We seriously need to stop relying on this idea, 2 of the clubs directly below us have beaten us in the last week. Most relegation sides pick up the majority of their points in the latter part of the season once it's crunch time and fixtures vs mid table clubs with too many points to go down but not enough to get Europe come around, the fact we haven't binned Ange this morning with a view to bringing someone in who can right the ship and save us ffrom relegation is mind boggling.

.

Give up. You've got nothing.
When last week I posted actual points per game stats (you know - facts) you had nothing to say for that.
When today I pointed out that Spence played just 4,7% of minutes in EPL while Udogie was struggling for form - you've got nothing relevant to say about it (just some subjective opinions in your head). And then my posts are emotional. Sure. Sure thing :D

How long is levy prepared to wait. I think he's waiting to see whats happens in the cup games. If we go out the fa and league Cup he will pull the trigger.

He'll have no choice if that happens

Problem is, what if we don’t lose one of the cup games? The league form just drags on and on. Those at the top aren’t taking the idea of being relegated seriously.

If we pull off a genuine football miracle and survive Anfield next week, then what?

Does he get to the final?

Cause the final is MARCH 16th.

Before then (after the 2nd leg) we have to play:
Villa - FA Cup
Man United League
Ipswich away League
City home League
Bournemouth home League

I can't actually see us beating any of them based off the last 2 months.
So we could feasibly get as far into the season as match week 28 with under 30 points.

So the obvious thing here is why the fuck would it matter if he wins or loses next week?
He can't possibly be allowed to stay as far into the season as MW28

We would do better under almost anyone but him. Anyone who says "you're a right back mate, play fucking right back not CM"

I can’t stand Benitez but he’s obviously a far better coach and tactician than Ange. Would be a complete pain long term with our owners but he’ll stabilise this squad and organise them. We’re not quite as bad as our current league position suggests.
I worry Benetiz is finished tbh.
He might actually be a false hope for fans.
He's been out of work for over a year.
At Celta Vigo he had win % of 27
At Everton he a win % of 31
In china he had a win % pf 31
At Newcastle it was 42 but half that was in the Champo
The last time he had a good win % was Real Madrid and that was 10 years ago.

Levy playing the long game with this one.

I think he knows relegation is pretty long odds, so let the window close, give Ange a chance to fuck up some cup games and then the axe drops.

He can then sell the project to the next useful idiot down the road and let him know he’s got a free hit for the rest of the season and 11 senior and first XI players coming back between now and the summer.

The next window I imagine will be fairly tame considering all these great players coming back from injury and we’ll only have 1 game a week again.

Cheers Dan 🥂
