Depends on what interview, if he's asked on amorin he's gonna give an answer.
The interview I watched he was full of praise on Madison, vicario and the team in general
Its an agenda driven comment that would have worked last week when all the negative posters had taking over the forum.

Unfortunately for this poster, we won yesterday so the positive fans are on the forum this morning. Hence, his agenda driven comment to find anything negative isn't working

The squad has had a lot of turnover, a lot of older players gone and replaced with half the number of players, who are babies comparatively. Then the injuries hit. The key fact for me in the coverage of the game was, Spurs were fifth when Vicario got injured. And it was his first game back and we won 1-0.

Would suggest we were a top 6 teams before the injuries.

My concern is that if we ditch Ange we start the cycle again, would be worth seeing it out, let’s see how we are tracking at years end. A good run of form with players back, and ideally a euro cup win, and would be hard to justify sacking him.

Whilst I can see what you’re trying to say, the biggest issue is that the idea of seeing it out means giving him another season or so (appreciate you said years end, so half of next season). All of the data and all of the stats show that we’ve gone backwards in a big way.

We haven’t won three league games in a row since December 2023, this season alone we’ve lost 13 out of 25. It’s twenty something losses out of the last fifty something (someone will put the actual numbers up I’m sure) but we’ve got to a point where we lose very nearly half of our games.

It’s also over a larger period than just the injury hit bits, so it isn’t solely down to injuries, and I actually think us being injury hit has given him longer than most managers because it’s been used as an excuse, when in reality it’s mitigation at best.

I do completely get what everyone says about the cycle and the endless churn of managers. I’d say 95% of people on here know the real issue, but it doesn’t mean it’s the only issue. Final league position will dictate if players leave this summer and we’ll see what the squad looks like for next season, but for me Ange has shown absolutely nothing that suggests he should get a single game of next season - he just isn’t good enough for this level. I’d worry about where he would have us half way through next season, because I suspect that within a few months of it we would have yet another injury crisis.

Oh no dont worry, I am happy and positive as well. I am a Spurs fan not an Ange cultist.

Just want the Aussie coaching god to be replaced as soon as possible. One or two wins is not going to change my opinion.

Its very unlikely he gets next season. It would need a massive turnaround in results. I think every fan agrees on that. We'd need to win nearly all our games between now and May for Ange to still be here next season.

I think for some of us (me included), it always made sense to give Ange the season even when things were going all wrong. There were reasons outside of his control (missing around 10 players for majority of the bad results), and bringing in a new manager mid season is not ideal (mainly because the best options are not available until the Summer). I always expected our results to turn around once we got players back and that is still my belief so I was never worried about this relegation nonsense been spouted on here.

Keep calm, give Ange the season and reassess in the Summer. That was always the right play and nothing has changed!

Even if we win Europa league, we were favourites to do so. Not a huge feat with this squad. Only becomes a feat when you play really dumb football and injure all your players

Winning any trophy with this club is a huge feat.

The fact that there are people claiming to be Spurs fans and saying they are afraid of winning one, or even flat out don’t want to win one with a manager they don’t like…. That tells me that they are fans of their own opinion more than they are fans of the club or the team.

Ange is correct that the injury crisis worsened our position much more than it should have been in reality.

What concerns me is that a) our stable level appears to be around 9th place and b) the squad and his management showed absolutely zero robustness to deal with multiple competitions, failing so spectacularly as to call into question any future success in cups and the league simultaneously.

Biggest issue with Spurs? Ange, just like Conte, is a once a week manager, equipped with a once a month squad.

I don't disagree with your assessment that Ange struggles with multiple competitions but I think it may be harsh to say our "stable level is around 9th".

Surely the available evidence suggests our "stable level" appears to be around 5th which is where we finished 23/24 and where we were in the league after beating City away which is when we lost Vicario (the moment our injury worries became a full blown crisis as Cuti and VDV were also already injured).

His comments have become increasingly shameless. Earlier on in his tenure he was very proud of the fact he never blamed referees or injuries for our poor results.

Now he is fully, wholeheartedly hiding behind this. In his pre-match presser he literally said the poor results are not about "Son's form" or "my tactics". I was shocked.

I guess desperation has brought him here but it is still quite the turnaround.

It's also a double-edged sword now though. He's now missing just 3 nailed on starters (VDV, Romero, Solanke) - hardly an injury crisis anymore.
Fail to beat Ipswich and he will need to come up with a new crutch to lean on very quickly. Probably another 2 weeks of the "newly returning players need time to get up to speed" rhetoric.

Ange is the master of selling you on a future that never comes.

I can only speak for myself but winning a major trophy and getting that monkey off our back means more than whatever might happen next season.
Exactly. I know you are Ange Out but at least you are still cheering for your club every week and hoping they surprise you!

You'd like to think the fans on here who want Ange out would still love Ange to prove them wrong or for us to still win something under him. Unfortunately that is not the case with some posters and I find it quite sad how some posters would rather have their opinion validated instead of seeing the club doing well.
