If people are rethinking now what will it be like next season after the first bad defeat or two which will likely be pretty early. Paratici and Vinai aren't going to have his back like Munn had. It would be a madness to continue. Great time for all concerned to shake hands and move on.Lot of people understandably caught up in the romance of Wednesday will be rethinking their position this evening I'm sure
A game we were never expected to win today tbh, but a familiar story regardless on the pitch. We're going nowhere with him
The sensible thing is to part by mutual consent and everyone walks away happy. If people are rethinking now what will it be like next season after the first bad defeat or two which will likely be pretty early. Yeah, which is why he did it.The sensible thing is to part by mutual consent and everyone walks away happy.
But his third season comments have now made that much harder.
Twice a day over Levy
That's how it works these days. Against any decent opponent - its either AngeWall bus in our own half, or if we try something else - its collapse .
It's not weird to believe that a club that ended 2nd in the EPL and reached the CL semi after beating Real M. in both games in the quaters, achieved more than a club that ended 17th in the EPL and won a secondary European title.I don't understand, why would I answer that specific question when I'm not even arguing that point? Are you actually reading my posts?
It's obvious CL is more prestigious than EL but WINNING a trophy is seen as a success and trumps all besides all that this isn't my point - you said that Woolwich were a European force, that's what I'm arguing against.
The stupid thing is that this debate kicked off when you said it was much more of an achievement getting to the CL final then it is winning the EL, then proceeded to tie yourself in knots claiming that Woolwich have achieved more than us this season which is downright bullshit and uber weird BTW for someone so desperate to paint such a narrative for us and our rivals, weird.
That's my point though, now that he won this trophy even a mutual agreement makes no sense for him.
Sensible for who? And 'everyone' walks away happy, are you sure? As others have said, why on earth would Ange agree to leave now? Surely it's totally in his interest to dig his heels in and make them fire him? Why would he leave 'by mutual consent', what's in that for him? :/The sensible thing is to part by mutual consent and everyone walks away happy.

He probably thinks that he has Levy by the balls now but I wouldn't be so sure.
That's why winning trophies is so so so important. It builds into the mentality and confidence.
Leaving on a high note and looking relatively good instead of further spiralling downwards?Sensible for who? And 'everyone' walks away happy, are you sure? Ange chant could be heard loud and clear in the youtube live. I really think the actual ground support for Ange is far greater than any one of you could imagine.
Man, say we keep the Blob from start to finish next season and finish P10-12 in the league (with circa 15 defeats) + reach the Carabao Cup semis and make it out of the league phase in the CL (only to lose in the next round)...I bet you so many on here would be delighted, say it's proper progress and dead exciting for the future, that Ange deserves a 4th season, that them players are heroes/legends etc. And Levy would love them for it, like he's loving them right now.Season 3 will be better than season 2 lol.
OK we might finish 16th lol
