He’s already said that he doesn’t mind as there’s very little abuse so we’re stuck with him but I rarely read his posts
So trolling is ok, just as long as you're not dropping C bombs?
And C bombs are ok, as long as you're pally with the admin team?

I never said he was. I just commented that in Poch's time of success we had a far superior squad than the one we will currently go back into CL with. This is (or should be) a much bigger concern than who the manager is imo 🤷‍♂️

Ok, at the same times I disagree with everything you said and also agree with everything you said.

I agree that he had superior squad and clearly Kane had and has this superstar factor that changes teams and none of our current players have it. But I disagree with the size of the gap in quality.
I do agree that this squad needs top level additions to take CL by storm and to improve overall levels. But at the same time so much is down to manager. I mean you have to come up with solutions to adapt if you don't have certain players. In some aspect Ange has done extremely badly on that front. Cause quite frankly in some positions we never had that kind of depth. I am not trying to say that missing Romero and VDV is an issue. But when before has Spurs manager had the luxury to use as backup to use three (!) full time internationals who before joining us have been all starting players in top 5 leagues (!)? You cannot blame lack of depth in such case. Cause it is unreasonable to need two world champions in each position.

Watch the Amazon documentary for a refresher if you want to remember.

Under Conte we had serious injury problems, Richy being the chief example. Ange didn't create Richy's chronic injury problems.

Poch = loads of injuries, especially at the start. He had them at Chelsea too btw. This has been discussed.

pretty similar no?

the point being that injuries were an issue before Ange, which is why the long-standing medical dept was moved on. Seems pretty normal to expect teething issues whilst a new dept is built, especially when they hadn't even filled out all the positions until adverts went out during this season.

I said 99% of the time. I could also say it to France 2016.

People chat a lot of shit when it comes to this stuff. Being a winner or loser is rarely some inherent spirit, it’s down to talent, the right draw/circumstances etc.

In our case this time many circumstances were on our side and we won it. In the CL final that wasn’t the case. The fact we were against uber talented Liverpool and not shite United didn’t help.

If it was Liverpool in that EL final it would’ve been very different. It wasn’t.

Winning tournament football is completely different to winning the league.

In a tournament final there rarely is a big discrepancy in ability or talent. Liverpool was talented but so were we-you don't play in the final if you're not talented. Mentality is what gets teams over the line. This applies to the manager as much as the players. We went down a penalty, so what? We had 90 minutes to get that goal back...alas..

In my part of the world, finals are how we decide the champions across many codes and sports. We see these contests all the time: the team that has mental fortitude on the day, is the champion. As examples, our national football team is basically league one level-yet we took eventual World Champions Italy to 90+penalty in 2006, lost 2-1 to eventual World Champions France in 2018, and could have taken Messi's Argentina to ET in the dying minutes. Its out mentality that makes up for our League 1 ability. Posteocglou has grown up in this culture and knows the power of a winning mentality.

This thread is more toxic than a
Porro can fcuk off.

What is it with these fcuking players. Don't they have any shame?

Someone needs to get a grip of all this crap.

Losing games left, right and centre and come out asking for a manager to stay. Just shut up and do your fcuking job better, then we wouldn't be having all this bo!!ocks.

… you should be ashamed.

So blinded by hate you’re even going to slag off one of our most consistent performers this season, who played ALOT of football, and has become a top 5 maybe top 3 RB in the league.

Pathetic, go support something else.

Keeping him at this stage is going to be the stupidest decision EVER. Regardless if you are for or against it. The split among the club and the fans on this guy is going to make him be on a 3-game leash. ALL SEASON.

Guess what that is going to do to team morals, coaching staff, fans, etc. If you keep him, stick with him ALL SEASON, otherwise, why bring him back on a nervy short run? We all know if he comes back he will STINK as he always did.

Look at the days out though, extra 30%. in the main 2023-24 were more muscular injuries and 2022-23 were more knocks, and also 50 matches as opposed to 41 in 2023-24., so basically we are looking at increase of 50% of absences per game since Ange arrived.
This is not coincidence
