Right, he luckily beat the same team 4 times this season.

A 90 game of football that involves 100's if not 1000+ touches of the football by 22+ different players, involving hundreds of actions, is nothing to do with luck, and when you extrapolate that over 4x the games, luck has absolutely nothing to do with it - primarily because luck doesn't exist.

What we have here is someone who is so entrenched in their worldview and dislike for another human being that didn't win them enough football games, that they convince themselves of something that fits into that view, regardless of how completely unrealistic and idiotic it is.

The general consensus from the entire football world, except for bitter, weird spurs fans is that Ange coached us to victory.

Man you really have your knickers in a twist over this don't you?
Man United are not a great team atm but beating them 4 times is still very good obviously.
We also lost to Leicester and Ipswich at home and many others over the season too.
I don't hate Ange at all, I actually like the way he speaks most of the time and he does have some good qualities as a manager and I will always have a bit of a soft spot for him as he delivered a trophy but I believe .his tactics are too open and naive to play in the premier League and spurs would be better off if he left and it isn't just me or spurs fans who think this by the way

Okay I get it. Anything Ange does that is successful is irrelevant and lucky and anything Frank does that is successful is because he is a genius. PS. Ipswich had the lowest wage bill in the PL last season. Also, Brentford never play in Europe so they don't have to juggle or make difficult choices. Think Frank will bomb out the minute he can't play his full squad twice a week.
2 can play this game I guess, Ange after losing Harry Kane, arguably our greatest striker in the PL era managed to get 5th in his first season and qualify for the EL, and went one better in his second season by winning the EL and qualifying for the CL , so next season that means we are winning the CL! :ange-arms:

Ask the runt which doubler was more painful for him Palace or Brighton.
I can't split them myself

The discussion in this video is a waste of time, yet it is taking the argument to a whole irrelevant area.

We are not talking about "LIKE", r "GET ALONG" here. I like Ange, yet I am one of his big critics.

The issues here are:
DID THIS GUY SHOW TACTICAL KNOWLEDGE TO HELP THE TEAM THROUGHOUT A SEASON, AND DURING A MATCH?
DID THIS GUY SHOW MANAGERIAL CAPABILITIES TO MANAGE PLAYERS AND TEAM THROUGH MULTIPLE COMPETITIONS?
DID THIS GUY SHOW KNOWLEDGE OF PLAYER SKILL SETS, FITNESS, CAPABILITIES?
DID THIS GUY IMPROVE INDIVIDUALS?
DID THIS GUY HELP YOUNGSTERS?
DID THE GUY SHOW RESPECT TO FANS?

No, No, No, No, No, and No

Stop distracting fans here, this is not "Mr. Congeniality" debate. Focus on FOOTBALL please.

Well, you are the one who said we won the trophy despite him consistently playing a less open and much more defensive strategy in the cup.

I listened to most but not all of that and Simon does bring up one salient point, that if it WAS actually agreed (and I don't really believe it personally) to focus on EL and basically throw the PL then Levy is in a tough position to fire him for bad league form.
