Of course I'll get behind the next guy, whoever it is, goes without saying. Just fed up with the upheaval and having the feeling that we'll be going through it all again in 18 months time!There is nothing wrong with feeling this way or being sentimental - you are a fan. You're allowed to feel that. And you're allowed to wonder "what if". Don't let any of these grinches tell you otherwise.
But...as always we just have to rally around the next guy because that's what fans are supposed to do. (and I lknow I don't need to tell YOU that)
Other coaches that actually coach could get more out of that, it isn't about the back 4 it's about the whole team, if your relying on names why is he at Spurs
I will ask again, supporters of other teams that are saying this isn't a good move are they willing to give their current manager up for Ange? Majority I think not

We've had great coaches and "loads of coaches". All failed before! Just go back in our recent history to see some of the shockers we've had and early rounds we've crashed out of.
Fact is Ange got it done! If it was so easy it wouldn't be our first European trophy in 41 years!
What do you expect the new manager to achieve next season?
Nobody knows who the new guy is so it's not a great question. I would expect the new guy to make us to look like a competent side though, one that goes into games with a plan to beat the opposition. To coach the teams, make them look good tactically. Not have every game looking like playground football, where we're giving up chance after chance after chance. The basics really. To put together a side that can win more than 6 games at home in the league season. One that gives a shit in the games against our rivals.
Will we won a trophy that we aren't expected to? I doubt it. Though it would be incredible like it was a few weeks ago.
I haven't seen anyone state what they expected from Ange this season. Though I haven't read every post today.
How many spurs fans would happily swap the other ownerships / boards / amount of funding however?? It would be 100% so maybe you should take that into consideration?
For me i would go all out for iraola. Pay over odds. De zerbi next choice for me. Frank I get vibe is to climb the table next season and consolidate. Tuchel and poch available next year to keep options open.

And of course they played the last 5 games of the EL which we won 4 and drew 1.
That's something for Frank to build on for sure.

The issue for me with some of the 'big' names is that they don't appear to be capable of doing much aside from winning with teams that are set up to win. Debatable if that's a skill in choosing those scenarios over having ability (much like when people question if Hamilton won his F1 titles with ability, or by being #1 driver at the dominant teams).
The benefit I see in the likes of a Glasner or Frank (possibly a de zerbi) is that they don't need £500m to do their job without moaning, and they don't need various other things in place that, being realistically, at clubs like Real/City are kind of set up for some mug to jump in and fill out a team sheet.
The bit I don't get about De Zerbi is that he was flavour of the month one minute, and sacked by Brighton the next. Seemed a bit weird.
I expected him to go. And he has done, eventually. Not a moment too soon. Sorry to be harsh, but I'm being honest.
I hear what you are saying Mrs P, but overall 90% of our football these past 18 months has been turgid, even in the way we won the final, there was no trace of what we as Spurs fans have come to expect as a minimum. Football with flair, imagination and a bit of a swagger win lose or draw.
Therefore I doubt very much that Ange, and in his guidance, his coaching staff could have made that 180 turnaround, and personally I would not have wanted to give him another season with my club to experiment in trying to do that!
