Of course I'll get behind the next guy, whoever it is, goes without saying. Just fed up with the upheaval and having the feeling that we'll be going through it all again in 18 months time! There is nothing wrong with feeling this way or being sentimental - you are a fan. You're allowed to feel that. And you're allowed to wonder "what if". Don't let any of these grinches tell you otherwise.
But...as always we just have to rally around the next guy because that's what fans are supposed to do. (and I lknow I don't need to tell YOU that)
Wasn't that talented when injuries hit. We play the following backline for months
Kinsky
Porro-gray-davies-spence
That's a relegation backline. The squad may not be 17th weak but its weak as baby shit.
Not one player gets into Woolwich's starting lineup, let alone Liverpool.
Levy has played the fans and Manager in a manner worthy of Lucifer himself
Yeah of course that’s with genuine interest, as opposed to reel someone in and then promptly pick apart their response?!So far not one of the football experts who wanted Ange gone have explained what the new guy will do.
Gonna keep on asking this until..maybe somebody will answer?

Other coaches that actually coach could get more out of that, it isn't about the back 4 it's about the whole team, if your relying on names why is he at Spurs
I will ask again, supporters of other teams that are saying this isn't a good move are they willing to give their current manager up for Ange? Majority I think not
We've had great coaches and "loads of coaches". All failed before! Just go back in our recent history to see some of the shockers we've had and early rounds we've crashed out of.It entirely depends. In season if the manager also sees it as his only chance to get European football I could see it. I could also see them not binning off the league to the same extent, but the reality is we shouldn’t ever need to in order to win the Europa.
It was an incredibly kind run of games to win a cup and a good manager basically just has to see us beat Frankfurt and we’re in to a cup final as AZ and Bodo just need the bare minimum focus.
I’ll credit Ange with us beating Frankfurt as they’re decent, but I could see loads of coaches achieving it.
What do you expect the new manager to achieve next season?
Nobody knows who the new guy is so it's not a great question. I would expect the new guy to make us to look like a competent side though, one that goes into games with a plan to beat the opposition. To coach the teams, make them look good tactically. Not have every game looking like playground football, where we're giving up chance after chance after chance. The basics really. To put together a side that can win more than 6 games at home in the league season. One that gives a shit in the games against our rivals. So far not one of the football experts who wanted Ange gone have explained what the new guy will do.

How many spurs fans would happily swap the other ownerships / boards / amount of funding however?? It would be 100% so maybe you should take that into consideration?Other coaches that actually coach could get more out of that, it isn't about the back 4 it's about the whole team, if your relying on names why is he at Spurs

We're going to win the Under 12s cup..
I think we can say goodbye to most of them....mate!Thought I would see if I could crowdfund an “Ange In Levy out” campaign as pretty sure I can convince every Australian on the planet to give me a tenner.
Turns out they won’t let you crowdfund £4bn.
Bastards.
This is a great point. All the talking on here about how Frank, or Glasner, or Iraola won't win us the CL or PL, but it's so much more detailed than that.
Put any of them in the Real Madrid role, or PSG, or Bayern and they'd have a decent chance.
They're very good managers, however the quality of our playing staff, recruitment team, coaching team and medical team needs to be addressed if we want to have a realistic chance of winning these trophies.
I'm keen on De Zerbi after what he's done with Marseille, but Frank or Glasner would bring stability and certain improvement.
I expected him to go. And he has done, eventually. Not a moment too soon. Sorry to be harsh, but I'm being honest.I haven't seen anyone state what they expected from Ange this season.
I hear what you are saying Mrs P, but overall 90% of our football these past 18 months has been turgid, even in the way we won the final, there was no trace of what we as Spurs fans have come to expect as a minimum. Football with flair, imagination and a bit of a swagger win lose or draw.I have admitted that I am a tad sentimental and the facts are what happened last season - ie we finished 17th and we won a trophy. Unless people have a crystal ball, then who know what might have happened if Ange had been given another year? If he has more of the first team available and he has learnt how to be more pragmatic, then he would probably wouldn't repeat the disastrous league form.
Being realistic, it is highly unlikely that we are going to win the PL or CL, with our current set up. Therefore, we'd set our sights on EL, FAC or LC and a top 6 finish. I think Ange could achieve that.
So, no trophies?Nobody knows who the new guy is so it's not a great question. Will we won a trophy that we aren't expected to? I doubt it. Though it would be incredible like it was a few weeks ago.
I haven't seen anyone state what they expected from Ange this season. Though I haven't read every post today.
me too - twice. The Extra Mile(sey) if Milesey goes as well, I'm running around the block starkers.
