Some intellectually challenged fans on here think because we have management team paid to make decisions, they must be good decisions.
The decision yesterday was taken on the following premise:
We can either invest in the squad and build from here with Ange.
Or we can pay off Ange and pay to bring in a Thomas Frank.
Ange may well have brought glory, but the investment would have been more financially burdensome than bringing in a compliant Frank.
With Frank there is a high risk we won't do anything special but a low risk of relegation.
We can continue to bolster company revenues via other stadium uses regardless of Champions League involvement, which we do not expect with Frank after our projected exit in Q4 2025.
Based on the above, let's avoid squad investment and spend the total 20m sacking Ange and appointing Frank. We've conditioned a large part of the support for this change already so they will continue to spend with us.
We may lose some players but the transfer revenues will be welcome, and Frank will not complain.
