When Frank was sacked we were higher in the league than Ange had us. He had no Maddison, Kulu or Son, no Solanke for most of that time (that was probably like 80% or Ange’s league goals) and had to contend with champions league instead of Europa.

Pining for Ange is ridiculous. He finished 17th & lost 22 games. We are linked to Poch and De Zerbi who are much better premier league coaches than he is. Ange has won 1 in 19 of his last managed league games, Ange took over a decent forest team and failed to win a game, Ange is not the fucking man to take over and guide us to safety. He loses premier league matches for fun because they aren’t Bodo or AZ.

Frank is a perfectly fine, if uninspiring, manager and it's not his fault (at least not solely) that we are about to relegated.

Injuries are why we're about to be relegated. That and the 2024 Summer Transfer Window. But the reason we're so vulnerable to another injury crisis is because the squad is mid (see 2024 transfer window) and Frank was unable to get the wins on the board to give us a points buffer when it got really bad.

Also neither he nor Tudor have been able to replicate the 3 wins we got on the bounce last season to end any hint of relegation trouble. We beat Brentford, Leeds and United with Dragusin/Gray/Davies as our CB's. Kinski in goal for one or two of those.

We'd kill for that kind of resilience right now.

The problem with Frank was always that he's no better or worse than what we had in Postecoglou. Although Xg indicates he was far worse but I digress. The point is we sacked a trophy winning manager who the squad believed in for a meh manager that they diidn't. Then we signed West Ham's 3rd best player; our 4th choice Maddison replacement, and Palinha.

And even then some of these clowns thought we were fighting for Top 4. They can't accept they were wrong, so they won't.

But they don't get to peddle their insane fantasies without push back. not any more.

I think Romero was told a crock of shit to get him to sign a new contract, and now he's disgruntled and been talking about lies on his social media. I also think players have been pissed off about the club selling Johnson, and not bringing in another LB in the summer.

I've marked quite a lot of the points that the team gathered that season as gained by sensational point blank saves from Vicario when he seemed to be in the form of his life, probably the best keeper in the league for the first 10 matches or so.

January 24th and I could see relegation coming and the only fucking person I could think of that might be able to get us out of it was the same bloke who got this players to win a trophy. Once again people didn't listen to me. Once again I've been proved 100% fucking correct.

And now I'm here for the memories. If derangers don't like people reminsicing about when we were a club that won European trophies then they simply don't need to come in here.

But if they do they will get reality served up to them and reminded that they got what they wanted and now we're fucking relegated.

Romero is gaslighting.

He gets very well paid and wasn't forced to sign a new contract. Other players liking a post means nothing. What do they think the club should be spending or have they been reading what a few spendthriths on here have been writing?

Romero is captain of the club, a decision that might have seemed logical at the time but one which has backfired.

The bigger problem is that neither Frank or Tudor has been able to get him playing better and more consistently.

Meanwhile I repeatedly warned you that injuries and a meh squad was the reason for our League form last season and that it weas likely Postecoglou was actually overachieving given the circumstances and that it was unlikely a new manager was going to dramatically improve us, and could, quite possibly make things worse.

We had these conversation ad infinitum last season.

On every possible metric - xG/xGA, Goal Difference, Games won... We have gone backwards. We are setting all sorts of records for bad performance. Are you for fucking real right now?
