BTW: after match Day 12 in Postecoglou's 2nd season we were 6th; four points off 2nd; with a +14 GD. Half an nour after that City away win it was announced Vicario had injured his foot. We would be without 4 of our starting back 5 for nigh on 3 1/12 months after that. They wouldn't play together in the league for the rest of the season but did start 5 games in the EL and went 4 wins, one draw and won the Trophy.

For "context" as you seem to value that. :ange-pray:
He didn't do his job very well after that did he, Galatasaray away then Ipswich at home completely went to shit after proving once again he was out of his deapthbearing in mind we'd already dropped points to Leicester.

Boring - you're doing it again...equating other clubs with Tottenham.

Have you not noticed that Spurs are very much unlike other football clubs so I couldn't give a toss what happened at Utd with Jose because it's irrelevant to us. We sack coaches at the wrong time, we literally have a history of it so using that as some sort of slight against Ange is dumb and uber desperate, stop doing it.

Nooooope way too simplistic.

Spurs isn’t a normal top 6 job, managers walk into chaos hit a ceiling and then get blamed. We’ve seen it with Poch, Conte, and Jose.

The pattern shows the opposite - good managers always come in and then hit the ceiling and then get judged as if they were responsible for the culture and the environment.

hall of fame game missed the point GIF

Pure assumption on your part, Top clubs don’t make decisions based on one turbulent spell especially at Spurs where the structure has made plenty of good managers look worse than they are. Ange delivered a style, identity, and moments this club has been crying out for including  even if results dipped.

You literally the other day said my patents wished they aborted me before you got banned you fucking idiot lol

Check your mirrors 🤡

Other clubs don’t think it was dumb and wrong you utter fucking clown, because they think he’s shit. That’s why they won’t hire him.

Lol yeah, Poch who went on to manage PSG, conte who immediately went on to manage Napoli. Almost like the elite viewed them differently.

Deal with the reality: our past actually good managers had interest elsewhere and options, the clown didn’t and doesn’t, that’s why he’s begging it on sky and had to go to forest to get sacked again. Now nobody in England would hire him .

Assumption lol - it’s evidence based. Name the top clubs showing interest. Tell me why he ended up at relegation threatened Forest if said interest existed. Dyche has a better rep.

“Results dipped lol” he lost 22 games. I promise you PSG etc don’t care about the EL, they wanna see coaches actually improve teams, develop players and have success in the league. Sorry. That’s why our boy Poch (an actual success) got hired by the crème de la crème after spurs and not Forest LMAOOOOOO.

You guys can be his hype man all you like online: the jobs he gets offered will reflect the reality of how he’s viewed within Europe.

Ermm. I'll forgive the 3-2 loss away to Galatasary in a game where we started Will Lankshear up top; Fraser Forster in goal and Archie Gray and Dragusin were our CB's :roflmao:

We would cut your balls off for a performance like that, away against that opposition, in any game whatsoever this season. :D

Dearie me. It's just so fascinating the depths they go to just not to accept that maybe, just maybe, Postecoglou wasn't the main problem. Even as we sit 1 point off relegation and haven't won a premier league game in FOUR FUCKING MONTHS.

Wow

No, it was actually Davies and Dragusin. The fact you cant even admit how atrocious we was in that game alone we havent been as bad since.

Davies was left back.

But either way if you believe a 3-2 away loss to Galatasary away - in a competition we would go on to win - was worse than anything we've endured this season you're either stupid or lying or both.

Which is the hallmark of a Deranger

No Gray was left back.

At the time we wasnt winners and the result on paper isn't bad the performance was diabolical and worst ive ever seen from spurs especially that first half.

Pure cope your spouting.

How do we even begin to deal with denial this deep.

We are literally 1 point above relegation, haven't won a league game in FOUR MONTHS, on our third manager of the year and these people want to discuss Galatasary away in November 2024...

There is one person in this conversation peddling "cope" my friend - but I assure you it is not me :D

How do you quantify this?

Chances created, chances conceded? Keeping possession? Players available? Etc...

A 37 year old Dries Meertens ripping angeball to shreds. Osihmen should have scored 6, we was fortunate not to concede 10 in that first half, Forster actually played well.

Our xg conceded that day was around 3.51 and we also conceded a massive 28 shots, we did accumulate 1.94 xg from 10 shots, so we defended appallingly but attacked ok and considering it was a fairly weakened team I think you have to take that into account.

Our worst performance I can remember was from this season against Woolwich at the Emirates, we created 0.06 xg and that was from a fucking speculating lob from 30 yards, we didn't even try and get out of our half, they had around 2.4xg, it was 17 shots to 3 and we had our strongest team out that we could muster.

The Chelsea match was 0.17xg to 3.41xg 3 shots to 15, another disgrace of a performance and yet another strong side.

A performance usually means the way you defend and attack, we did neither in these matches so they are undoubtedly worse, we didn't even try.

You're still going on about a 3-2 away loss to Galatasary in 2024 in a competition we ended up WINNING.

How on earth do you think this plays in the favour of... whatever fucking point it is you think you're trying to make? 😭
