He's nearly old enough to qualify for his free bus pass and the only thing of note he's done is to win the league with Celtic. Liz Truss could win the league with Celtic.

Like I said, you're clearly happy with mediocrity, personally I think we can do better. Poch had experience in the Prem, Flange doesn't.

None of the bigger names want to join us mate, we need to gamble

Postecoglou may very well turn out to be mediocre but he could also turn out to be fantastic

People are talking about the other options like we have a choice, we got turned down by the fucking feyenoord manager ffs

At the moment I’m happy with anyone that can clear the squad out and entertain fans that have been watching utter tripe for about 5 years now

Probably because Slot has operated in a league that has produced teams that compete with EPL sides, taking a team that was mid-pack there and making them champions in his first full season playing the kind of football we want at WHL.

Sure, Ange has done that in Aus and Japan... but that's Aus and Japan.

I was quite excited about Slot, but Postecoglou is very much a "meh, lets see what happens". Celtic fans seem to love him, so that's something I guess.

That's because no decent manager will accept the job when we don't currently have a Director of Football. If you dont know who you'll be working for, you're unlikely to accept the job. Get in a DOF and then we can start talking about hiring a manager that isn't pub league level.

But surely doing it in aus and Japan where money isn’t a thing shows how good a coach he is?
 
I’m fine with going with Posty, even if I thought it was a terrible idea at first. Now just get on with it.

I will say this though, they’d better have really done the due diligence. If he wins the triple and then decides to stay, they will look like total mugs.
Even if they haven’t even been serious about him.

The longer they dither about, the more chance of managers and the media making them look silly.

Was Wenger pub league level when he joined the scum from Japan? No one had a clue who he was

Listen I’d like nagelsmann aswell but we need a reality check as a fan base in terms of what the options are

We came 8th and are owned by a cunt that doesn’t care and have a chairman that doesn’t care

Dude, he'd won the league and cups with Monaco and got to the final of the UEFA and semi's of the Champs League. Bayern were after him at one point but Monaco turned them down.

It was only after a disappointing final season that he went out of favour and moved to Japan.
