Hopefully postey has also watched and learnt from Guardiola. Why? They took a punt on Arteta in his very first managerial role and I'd wager they're overall pretty happy with him.
If there was a fanbase open to a hiring like this, it should be them.

Totally agree. It loses its power if you keep ranting constantly. Ange certainly is not that guy. He’s very measured in his team talks and every player knows what’s required individually and collectively. If players drop their standards he’s on them and they don’t play. We need this type of management. Not keep playing players who are continually shit week week out but still start the following week. There’s a few players in the Tottenham dressing room don’t realise what’s coming. From time to time, yes, but once you've shouted and screamed that's it. There's nowhere else to go. So it has to be used very precisely. That's why I said that I hoped it wasn't the norm. If it's the norm, you've lost the battle.
I’m buying one off youWhen he signs I'm gonna get a load o t shirts with his face on it Che Guevara style and the caption: 'Enjoy ya lunch'
Funnily enough, he played them in pre-season when he was managing the City-group's Japanese team. They seemed to impress:
So, Jose and Conte were both into “important” players.Totally agree. It loses its power if you keep ranting constantly. Ange certainly is not that guy. Tora! Tora! Tora!
With a less than 31% win percentage and a relegation from that ‘proper league’?I'd take him now for sure, he made his name in Italy anyway. You know, a proper league.
I asked my dog groomer to cut the dog's hair into a mullet. Pissed myself when she actually did it!
There's a difference between being keen and wishing him all the best and to succeed. On that basis then we should've went with Mason instead.
Heck, we still might.....at some point next season anyway.
Question to all the people giving me Disagrees, if we'd announced Ange as our No.1 target a couple of months ago after Conte left, would you still be so keen on his appointment?
No disrespect but if the room is dark how will he know he’s shouting at N’dombele? That's a great clip.
I look forward to Ange vs Tanguy.
I now feel reassured that if Ndombele has learnt how to run for the team, we can utilise his talent.
And if he's still a "fucking lazy cunt" (copyright Ange), then he'll be out the door pronto...
:tanguyhuh:
No employment law expert but assume the rolling bit means it continues until both parties renegotiate- ie he had a year remaining at Christmas and has a year remaining todayWhy would they make an official approach to Celtic? I thought he was on a rolling contract? Surely both parties need to agree the following season after this one has ended, so wouldn't he effectively be out of contract now?
Yeah but winning as Celtic is not exactly a difficult feat, is it? Even lower rated managers did it.I see where you are coming from but conversely you might argue it is very high as you are expected to win every game and multiple trophies every season. The difference is of course here he would be competing at a higher level against stronger opposition.
I think they'd all rather Spurs benefited from him, rather than him make Spurs, and himself look idiots.Well have you read much of this thread. Plenty seem to want him to fail
Batter than anything I heard from the lips of the dinosaur in that fucking documentary............
