Or maybe the manager Brighton couldn't get and settled for de Zerbi, depending one whose reporting you believe.A protracted search with lots of false steps, possibly ending in a selection that appears to be based at least in part on connections with the front office. All this talk about Spurs being a top flight team and we might end up with the manager Brighton didn't pick when they hired De Zerbi.
As a Celtic supporter i really hope that he stays with us, however, i am resigned to the fact that he will probably leave and rightly so, as our BIG ANGE deserves to be managing at the very top!! he is IMHO by far and away the best Celtic manager that i have witnessed, he is not just a football manager, he is a philosopher, a tactician of life, a motivator in football and life in general, he is the rare kind of human that everyone just gravitates to. He rocked up when we were in complete and utter turmoil and after his first presser i/we were like WOW what do we have here. In 2 years he has absolutley transformed our club from top to bottom, never has the club felt so together.
Like i said, i DO NOT want him to leave, but if he does go to Spurs you are getting one hell of a manager!!!
If you liked Slot, then why not Ange? He's basically Slot, but with a larger-than-life persona. Something that I think is equally, if not more important. And, to be fair, if he is the selection he might turn out alright. I think because I thought Slot was such a good fit it is difficult to muster much enthusiasm for Postecoglou.
what would be funnier is watching these brave brave cuntoff participants in a battle royal, live on spurs play
Never changeThe usual Scotophobic shite from English bastard-cunts on the internet
Even I have to say this is getting weird now.
All these guys randomly rocking up here to say the same message. Turmoil at the club but he fixed it. Want him to stay but glad he's moving upwards.
What proud Celtic fan wouldn't see themselves as our equal? The message is the same. Ange is coming to heal.
All very odd and what Levy would want the message to be. They all write the same too. Very...English.
Admin whats the deal on all these new posters ip's?
I think it's quite good as a terrace song. Short and catchy.
Pre season starts in July and surely we need manager now to get the squad sorted or we will start with the same rubbish as this season .There is a urgency needed we have already wasted 2 monthsOr maybe the manager Brighton couldn't get and settled for de Zerbi, depending one whose reporting you believe.
As for false steps, I do not see any. We have made some tentative contacts with a couple of managers and are continuing our evaluation. As opposed to Nuno, who was one we had to settle for rather than one we really wanted, this feels more like "let's look at everyone and not jump to a decision." The time it is taking is irrelevant, as long as we have a manager in place sometime in June. If anything, after the failed appointments of the past few years I think it is a good thing we are taking our time. There is no immediate pressure to have a manager in right now, so let's make sure we make the best appointment possible. If we get to the end of the month and we're still evaluating, then I would be concerned.
We can only hope that, IF he's appointed, bringing in Postecoglou and Munn are the first steps towards rectifying that chaos. His point is that Ange has a big character so he's the hero we need?
What about the structural chaos at the club causing us to lurch from failure to failure?
Not a knock on Postecoglou btw.
Not anti-Postecoglou for the record, but think it's a big gamble. Slot has achieved more difficult things. Winning Feynoord's 15th Eredvisie over Ajax and PSV trumps Celtic winning their 53rd league title. Covid season the league was abandoned after 25 games, and he had a AZ Alkmaar (what 4th or 5th biggest dutch side? ) tied on 56 points with Ten Hag's Ajax. Made it to a Europa Conference final, playing fairly well but losing to Jose's Roma. Makes a Europa League semi-final, losing in extra time to Jose's Roma.If you liked Slot, then why not Ange? He's basically Slot, but with a larger-than-life persona. Something that I think is equally, if not more important.
I think the official report at the time was "by mutual consent."
agree. That’s why I was an advocate of relegation to really clear the decks. We have more than enough financial resilience to bounce straight back and it would surely see Lewis’s daughter oust Levy and employ a fit and proper CEO and also sack the long self serving echo chamber of Cullen et al.
I also think a season rucking with Millwall, Cardiff etc should see off the day trippers and Koreans so match day would be much more authentic and hopefully these tossers would drift down the Thames to Fulham’s new selfie spot
Would almost certainly achieve four things:
- Championship (trophy)
- Shit players gone
- Cunt faux fans gone
- Most importantly, change of leadership with Levy, Cullen etc GONE
Back in 77 we all thought the mighty spurs would stroll through the second division rather squeeze into 3rd place with a draw on the last day of the season !!I agree with all that except the trophy, we'd get promoted in second place because we are Spurs
