A big thing is being made of Kane's 30 goals.

Firstly that's only the second time Kane achieved that, secondly if we aren't shipping 60+ goals at the back, we don't need to replace so many.

Richarlison, Maddison, Son, Kulu, Solomon, etc - they should all be able to hit solid numbers. I think a 20+ team contribution increase is achievable across them all.

For starters we will still get penalties, of which Kane scored five last year. Only 25 goals to find now.

i know that Kane is held in such high regard by the spurs fans and rightly so, just a wonderful wonderful player, however, i get the feeling that Ange is secretly glad he has left as now he can mould the team exactly how he wants it without such a large presents in the dressing room and an even larger distraction when it comes to the media circus around such a player. The way Ange sets his team up he needs his number 9 to be a running and hassling machine up top and im not sure Kane is that guy.

It's scripted. Done it everywhere he has been. But, the guy is genuine. He believes what he says. Very clever guy. If you don't win silverware in the next two years I'll be astonished. Doesn't go near the dressing room, refuses to have personal relationships with players. Laser focus on every aspect of the club. I'm still in mourning that we got that utter rat rodgers in his stead. Ange is so refreshing. I think it has been lost in football about what pressers are actually for. They are supposed to be to inform the fans and the press are supposed to be in the privledged place to interrogate managers/players. But nowadays managers/players are so cagey they don't reveal anything of any interest or worth and journos ask asinine questions.

Ange just seems so much more forthcoming and actually seems to care about the fans and what pressers are supposed to be about.

You didn't have to watch the back foot, cowardly, football of Conte last season.

It will take time for Ange to get that negative, timid, mentality out of our players.

It's no surprise that our best players on the day, Maddison & Udogie weren't at the club last season, & the outstanding Bissouma was largely ignored by Conte.

Totally agree - he will be raging at dropping points. Way too slow in attack and Richy will never make it in an AP team. After 15 games - then you see Angeball.
