Do you know what you're actually saying here?

You sound like a complete loser, the expectation should always be to win - we are Tottenham fucking Hotspur, one of the most decorated teams in the country.

What the fuck am I actually reading here?
Dumbest comment ever. You should be able to be objective. If we got relegated back in the dark days should we still be saying we should expect to win? utter lunacy.

I’m sure he wanted to have a look at his reserve players in a competitive game, in that sense it was a useful exercise. Now him and Levy have to act, with no cup matches until January we can be really ruthless and sell a lot of players to fund the 3 quality players we badly need.
Totally agree. We need to be brutal in the next 3 days. Take anything for some of the real turds. First thing i'd do is get back on the blower to Rennes and accept their offer for Sanchez.

What?

What am I supposed to do with this post? If we got relegated back in the dark days? What are you on

I hate to break it to you but we're not in the dark days and we haven't been relegated, neither of those scenarios are relevant to our stance now, shit example.

How can you call it utter lunacy that team who is an established top 6 team in the entire fucking country not to expect to win a fucking trophy, that should always be our expectation going into the season, what kind of pathetic mentality do you have?

Gave me flashbacks to the worst of Conte and Mourinho, from start to finish. Absolutely fuming.

It's hard to forgive cos it's such a basic mistake that most of us fans have warned against.

Top 4 and Ange gets a nice bonus :levylol:

2022/23 Carabao Cup prize money: How much the winners earn

The team who wins this year’s Carabao Cup will definitely enjoy their day and it the memories it produces, but the money men won’t be getting too excited.

In fact, the winners of the Carabao Cup this year will win less prize money than those teams who win in the third round of the FA Cup.

Just £100,000 will be awarded to the winners of the competition, with the runners-up netting £50,000.

But then you lose both, or so goes the thinking.
Not sure that would be the 100% case. I dont think many would put Porro and Sarr against United. But Ange did and it worked. Nów imagine giving them first season start next to Sanchez Hojberg Skipp instead of Romero Maddison and Bissouma around. Night and day when it comes to how easy is to jump to squad with better players around. Even against Barcelona mostly 2nd string looked much better with just Bissouma around. Sanchez the same, against Brentford was not that big liability with the ball I think.

Wow.......in the interview he just doesn't seem to bothered about going out....... and I think he's going to brilliant...I've followed him for years aswell....today was a major disappointment

Why? For a team that hasn't won anything in 15 years, and just lost their best player. Why would you expect to win anything?

Or should we expect out of pure hope?

We are traditionally a cup team and our fans are desperate for a Cup win. It will be a media pile on when we do win a cup that it isn't a good cup but for the fans there on the day (I'd be one of them) it would be magical.

Lord knows how many older Spurs fans out there won't live long enough to see another cup run but we should always be going into it to win from the very first game.

Just listened to anges interview on spurs play - he had the nerve to defend the team selection and their performance / seriously ? I saw no ange ball tonight - no cohesion no pressing no energy no front foot football no excitement was more like a conte master class in shite boring football - being loyal is one thing but if he seriously thinks a performance like that is acceptable he is doomed

Love what Ange is doing and hope he stays a long time, but absolutely gtfo with that rancid starting line-up in a motherfucking cup ffs.

Totally out of order.

Fully acknowledge we will probably never win the lge in my time but having grown up on a diet of cup wins I at least cherish the thought of cup win or at least a decent run in one

I think Ange knew exactly what he was doing tonight!

He effectively forfeited the CC to highlight the requirements before the window shut.

I don’t believe for a second it was naivety.
