You are right, it is the same. The difference is that it is more so for the teams so committed to the high line and pressing. Postecoglou's system is similar to City's, but where City has the depth to rest and rotate Spurs don't. I don't want him fired, that would make no sense a year in, but I also look forward to whatever comes after his time at Spurs. I think eventually we'll have another attacking coach without sacrificing defense to the extent he has.

Maybe so, but that wasn't the point being made or discussed. AP played him there because he thought his running in behind would be a benefit, he was right.

Pace helps, acceleration helps, but timing and intelligence far outweigh those attributes.

We were not even near being most impacted by the injuries this season, so it was normal course of business. We are not that special, it is not just Spurs getting injuries and be on receiving end of ref injustice.
