It's yes and no.
As long as they're building it and not ripping it apart, give them time.

I guess individual starting points will dictate how people feel he’s performing as our manager.
What is a shambles to you? Relegation? Finish outside top 10? Outside top 6? Outside top 4?

I think Levy will be thinking top 6 is the minimum standard. But he won't wait until it's too late to do anything.
For me, I want some consistency that we lacked.
All I know is this, our form fell off a cliff towards the end of last season and unless our transfer business improves then I fully expect it will likely happen again.

He has said on numerous occasions that he wants to instill a winning culture in the squad and the club.
So how would that sit if he signalled out that it was ok to not turn up to this or that game because us supporters demanded it??

Japanese players are notoriously reluctant to leave their homeland. Its only recently they have started to do it. But I'll put aside the quality of the Spanish squad versus the Japanese, and lets talk the managers:
You can be a loser and a disaster of a manager like Enrique was, but if you're European, and have a name as a player from a big European club, you're then in the mix to manage Spurs.
Who was Japan's manager? Don't know? Neither do I. That's the point-the Asian manager will not get the opportunity a Louis Enrique or a completely unproven one like Alonso will get.
As for Celtic, the trophies in the decade prior to Ange are the one's where Rangers were either not in the SPL, or without the funds to put out a competitive side.
Postecoglou has the second highest win % (73.45 versus O'Neill's 75.53 ) of ANY manager that managed for a full season, in Celtic's history and the second fewest number of games per trophy @ 22.6 games versus Lennon's 22 games per trophy.
I'm not a fanboit BTW, he has his flaws, who doesn't, but he can manage. Whether it works at Spurs, we'll find out

wolves, forest, Liverpool, west ham, palace, villa , Brighton as it will be over the same april/may this season.

Disagreeing is one thing but not being able to fathom/understand why a section of the fanbase would rather lose that particular game is like living in some fantasy world where emotion isn't reality.
He could have simply said he disagreed which he is absolutely entitled to do so but any other manager in that instance would have also added a bit about understanding why some fans would not want Gooner scum to win the league etc instead of making jokes about social media and jokes about walking through our trophy room and it being empty.
His delivery was all wrong and he himself later apologised.
There is losing tough games and then there is the way we played against Fulham, Newcastle, Chelsea, Woolwich and Liverpool where we looked a weak minded shambles.
Having said i cant work out why this thread has continued all summer at the rate it has. I have my doubts about Postecoglou but we need to see how the season pans out now. Just have a horrible feeling he'll be yet another manager hung out to dry by a slow underwhelming transfer window.

Are you surprised that world class player who has won everything there is to win in the game and was respected for his tactical nous and leadership as a player was given a chance as a manager in a big league but an unknown Japanese manager wouldn't be?
