In 96/97 they conceded 44 goals and won the league. More recently, it’s still Man Utd who won the league in 12/13 having conceded 43 goals.
I agree with your point that why did he appoint Mourinho and Conte, who endelessly whine about lack of spending only to not back them but i can assure you not all of us were excited. I was fucking appalled when we appointed Mourinho, dyed in the wool Chelsea prick playing dull football whose career was already heading down the pan.
