Let’s hope this happens to us but he’s fighting the immovable force of it just being Spurs!

What you have to realise about anything Starks posts is that it is tinged with a hint of this guy is definitely on some kind of drugs.

Then the posts from years back where he was proclaiming our imminent dominance of world football, the cheating at online chess to impress some randomers on a forum and the constant like whoring makes sense.

Blokes constantly zooted.
You sure he was Totti, Miss Marple?

I literally just looked at skysports and BBC sports just now to make sure I wasn't going mad.

Skysports main SPORTS headline is "Son criticises fixture demands: we're not robots."

BBC say "Scedule reaching dangerous levels- Postecoglu"

It gives off a bad impression when you have a fanbase starving for silverware. How many random interviews do they do? couldnt they have just mentioned it there (if they had to) but now the focus is away from the competition/game. Let players/managers of clubs that have actually fucking won something complain and keep it at how serious you're taking the competition for us success starved fanbase.

If it gave you that impression then fair enough and they probably needed to think more carefully about the air time they gave it for fans that feel like you.

Personally, I work in Sport so I hear those quotes and I can already hear in the background the conversations they will have had being briefed by the clubs press officer and comms director. Those were planned answers to questions that they knew to expect. Imo it never does any harm to throw the media a bone here and there when they are running a topic through a news cycle.

I definitely read Sonny talking about dreams of winning it and we’ve heard Ange talk relentlessly about winning things. For me I didn’t get any impression that the Europa doesn’t matter.

Let's hope so. CarrieFi CarrieFi help! Has the site change on your phone or am I stroking out!! It's all black background. I'm on the tube do could be something I've done? ANYONE!!!
It's one of those AI phones. It sees what your outlook is like when you're on TFC, so it colours your background to match it.

Seriously though. How can you expect any one to believe that unless you live in a fucking cave or something.

There ain't a week that passes by without me sending texts and memes to mates and acquaintances who support Tottenham. The banter is all one way, it's relentless and I get a massive kick from that and winding up the puppies in TFC.

Spread sheet values, New hotels, and Green initiative awards are the ones to really get them frothing at the mouth, I've found.

I ran your post through the AI Truth Translator...

I have absolutely nothing to throw back..

Spread sheet values, New hotels, and Green initiative awards don't quite hit the mark, I've found.
How many 'Not one brick!' messages do you get a week?

So he acknowledges that to win a trophy team needs a solid defense, as well as a ruthlessly efficient attack. Which 'won't be us' according to AP himself. Its such an arrogant, dismissive & flippant to occupy.
I like the way he’s now saying the “spurs way”. Has he ever said that before? It’s always been about angeball before. Now he’s kind of shifting the emphasis and style on the club. Almost deflecting away from his own tactics and making out he’s only playing the way we do bcos that is what we have always done. Poch played much better football in attack and defence.

The more I think about it, I’m starting to think that Ange’s ‘ I always win in the second season’ was very deliberate.

1. Took the pressure right off the player and put it all on his shoulders last week and for the rest of the season.

2. Signal to the club/players to ‘grow some balls’ and ditch the lose/mediocre mentality.

He’s got a bit of Sir Alex Ferguson in him… self belief wise… not saying he will win as much
Fergie? He use to play on the counter if needed.

We'll never win anything with this mentality. All winners have a nasty side. Game management is a dark art in of itself. We're the sort of team that is 90 seconds away from winning a cup, tries to make it 2-0, concedes on the break and then loses on penalties. It's who we are mate.
I'd disagree on this. I didn't find that Klopp's Liverpool side used negative tactics. They did so well because they were better than everyone else and played excellent attacking football. it's unfair to say that the only way a team can win anything is if they bend the rules and play negative tactics.

Although Mane chipping the ball up to Sissoko's arm leaves a bitter taste :-)
