Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

That performance deserves all the melting in the world.

It was shit. The players and the club should refund the away fans.
Nah. It was an awful second half and if the club wanna give refunds then fine.

But this habit of melting after one game, then we're winning the league after a different result, then we're getting relegated after another is pathetic and tiresome.

Ange has a shocker with subs.

But I’ve seen that movie so many times before under so many different managers.

This is how this club keeps everyone hooked in without actually winning shit.
yeh but Levy isn't forcing him to not make subs until the game is done? he's not forcing him to continue playing a player that's been at fault for 5/6 goals this season.

Ange insisted we needed a CB last jan and doesn't give him a proper chance.

Maybe.

But there is no manager alive or in future that will never have a half like our second half today.

This is the problem with the melting. They say they're striving for perfection but it'll never happen.

Get rid of Levy.
Get rid of managers.
Get rid of the scapegoat players.

Performances like this will always happen. The trick is to limit them to less often and after a run of 5 wins is not a strong foundation for that argument.
You've listed three things, but we've only tried two of them.

ENIC OUT.

When you really look at it, football has been shit since the Premier League started.

Most fans are as hooked to the false hope that one day it will be ours turn but the reality is that it probably won’t and that’s exactly what the premier league product really is.

I agree about the PL product but look at Woolwich under Arteta. Ok there is no guarantee to win, there never is in any sport but you can compete. We need a manager who has done what he has done. He's built a side which has the tools to win titles. Formidable in defence, resilient mentally, and their side, it really isn't special on paper. Just shows what the right manager can do.

Right now I have serious doubts he's actually any better than Nuno Espirito Santo, who never actually was allowed to play the ( fugly) way he wanted. No sure how we got here folks but I'd be seriously chatting up Alonso for the start of next season.
I don't think any serious, winning , top name manager would even pick the phone up after seeing the Mourinho and Conte debacles. Levy has already burnt that bridge.

Come to think of it, that answers your question, 😂. That's EXACTLY how we got here

We had that with Pochettino.

he was minutes away from losing his job against coventry. played a pile of shit after and everyone got hoodwinked.

2. a top manager changes after the first goal, wouldn't even let them get the second, never mind the fucking third.

I said the second because the time to react between first and second wasn't long at all. And I could see why a manager may decide to still wait and see if we can wrestle back control.

Hope after more than an hour, the disgust is waning. This is probably the first time we melted down so pathetically for Ange to see and hope he works better, he himself included, on changing that culture - I swear it's a club thing from the top down to the staff and players.

And taking about staff, fucking hell how comfortable they all were, often rooted to the seats with no urgency of sorts to direct the players when going gets tough.

We all know when the football clicks, it's a delight. Psychologically, we need hell lot of work. Back to the drawing board once more.

It’s not the first time this has happened, when our players just shit the bed and simply crumbled. We might be good at chasing the game when we’re behind and the players are focused and playing with urgency, but Ange seems to struggle at stopping the rot when the wobbling starts.

But those aren't the same fans? During our winning run I was hoping we were showing something, and I posted about the positives of our wins, but I was still unconvinced. Ironically, last week against United, and the first half today, I was beginning to believe despite all my concerns, and then that second half happened and I am back to thinking the guy is just the Aussie Bielsa.

I see so so so many similarities. I am back to Ange out I am afraid. He'll probably get the season, but it will be midtable. I think some fans will accept that worryingly.

Who said anything about Levy forcing anything? All I know is the same shit happens under every manager.

I’m not a big believer in coincidences and it’s a bit far fetched now to think it’s the manager every time.

He’s actually a sunday league level fraud that somehow got a Celtic job and Celtic win everything irrespective of manager.

A few scrappy wins and europa league farmers and the fanbase loved him again.

He’s the worst manager weve had in a long time. Worse than Nunoooooo.

This club could, potentially win a cup, especially if they have a run of five or six games, which is normal enough to win a cup
But this football isn't going to do much over 38 games teal shame as I hoped to see us win it before I go sadly no chance.

I think only Jose from our recent managers is/was proactive and would be willing to change tactics when things were not going well (in game).

Ange watches it and doesn't do anything and then he randomly does weird substitutions when we are losing and the game is done. He randomly starts taking attacking (crrative) players off when we need a goal.
