yea its madness to call them weak, they are only 14th. its not like their manager is fave to be first sacked either. It's the comments like 'weak Man Utd side' that crack me up, any old excuse to be miserable about your own club you support.

It's our worst start to a league campaign for 16 years. That's the narrative of 7 matches. Not 45 minutes.

He chats shit.
Wait, I thought 7 games was too early to be judging the season?Well, we're actually better.
In fact, we're better in almost every conceivable way across most metrics to last season and have nearly rectified every negative thing most had on Ange and his system last season.
High line causing us to concede on the counter? Improved on it.
Set pieces? Improved on it.
After Brighton, quite obviously need to improve on the mentality after leading in games and most definitely need players to cut out their stupid mistakes.
Results aside, this isn't a bad start 14 months into a huge rebuild though regardless of whether or not we had a poor 45 against Brighton. Though I also am aware it's fun to be a little reactionary after any loss and points on the board are what ultimately matter.
As most statisticians will tell you though, these things sort themselves out over the course of a season (Chelsea proved that last year) - 100% record in the cups whilst using the squad and blooding through youngsters, 3rd best xGA in the league, second best xG, 3rd in the league for xPTS.
Unless our performances SERIOUSLY dip, we are more likely to go on another run of 5 wins on the bounce and shoot straight up the league. And hell, If they improve? Then we're in for something pretty damn good.
But I'm also aware a select few on here absolutely refuse to back the manager so I really can't be arsed to argue the stats anymore and will instead just let it play out and see where we are come the end of the season. It's tiring and quite frankly exhausting listening to bullshit narratives and lazy discussion constantly by the same folk
1 more loss after 5 wins in a row and we’re having a conversation about sacking the manager? I think we should be poking at the big picture on this one. Remember Klopp missed top 4 a number of years and there was never talk about sacking him. What is the issue with giving a manager 2-3 full seasons?I agree that the current available alternatives are dreadful but not sure 'well the other options are shit' is exactly a vote of confidence in what he's doing and shouldnt be seen as a get out of jail free card. That doesnt mean sack him now but if we lost to West Ham i think we're in the area of having that conversation. (For what its worth i think we'll beat them)
We have lost 8 out last 14 gamesIt's not one loss though mate. How many embarrassing, utterly abject defeats have we seen since the turn of the year?
Thought he was a winner so you’d expect him to do something to try to win the game. Instead he does nothing of note and accepts our fate. He talks so much BS it all contradicts itself. It's one of his stranger takes for sure. It was like he was saying he was punishing the fans to make a point to the players.
I'm in the minority who was on his side when we played City end of last season, I don't think there's ever a time to go easy or throw a match, even if it hands the scum a league title. But this one, to paraphrase... I didn't want to try to change the game by making subs to mask how bad we'd been. That's some odd stuff right there. But it feels like it was actually his thought process in game and not just making up words after the fact.
Weird.
Do you forget that Klopp had won the Bundesliga twice with Dortmund and taken them to a CL final?? Bloke was wanted by all the big clubs and you think this joker who doesn’t think subs matter can be compared to him?1 more loss after 5 wins in a row and we’re having a conversation about sacking the manager? I think we should be poking at the big picture on this one. Remember Klopp missed top 4 a number of years and there was never talk about sacking him. you must forgive his fans, the wins against carrier bag, coventry and some other european minnows are the sort of standard they are used to watching kamikaze ange win against. so to them thats a solid bit of form.Do you forget that Klopp had won the Bundesliga twice with Dortmund and taken them to a CL final?? Bloke was wanted by all the big clubs and you think this joker who doesn’t think subs matter can be compared to him?
The point is, you can’t keep thinking of sacking managers after a loss. It creates instability and it also allows the players not to take any responsibility. That’s a major problem in this club, the players have been conditioned over the years to give up because they know that Levy will just sack the manager. The players have been getting away this for 20 years.Do you forget that Klopp had won the Bundesliga twice with Dortmund and taken them to a CL final?? Bloke was wanted by all the big clubs and you think this joker who doesn’t think subs matter can be compared to him?
It's actually wild how much people are allowing 45 minutes to change the narrative of our season.
I think you might be overreacting a bit...It's our worst start to a league campaign for 16 years. That's the narrative of 7 matches. Not 45 minutes.
There is absolutely no substance in your post.
None of you Clappers will ever convince me that Levy is anything but useless as a football CEO or his manager is a 59 year old who has won the golden ticket.
The table never lies.

Don’t know why you bother to respond. He’s only here to wind you up and stir up the whiners with a little help from his Woolwich friend. Our highest finish we only had 2 points more than we do now. Obviously it's not been a good start but we have probably deserved more points than we got based off performances. It's hardly disastrous though.
Yes, and this was Liverpool's back 5 that day:This was said after we beat them that day, oh how times have changed

This is the result of a stubborn manager. Simple as that.
A team of Liverpool’s size can’t have an ENTIRE defense playing that poorly, just can’t. Liverpool could have a proper defense, but Klopp is too stubborn to see how much of a Championship level our defense is.
Look how organized Tottenham's defence was. Like clockwork. It's not only the ability of our defenders, Klopp is doing something massively wrong himself.
Why win the game when you can teach the players a lesson?Thought he was a winner so you’d expect him to do something to try to win the game. Instead he does nothing of note and accepts our fate. He talks so much BS it all contradicts itself.
We've had the 2nd highest transfer spend in the league since Ange joined. Finishing 7th would be a disgrace.Sure we want to be top 4 but finishing 7th in this league is not a poor season for a young squad
