I've only just left a little while ago...was the Maddison sub due to injury or not? well done to Ange if that was not an enforced sub.
It was confirmed as tactical

I assume it is his ideal style of play and it just wasn't working against this level of opposition. People are hailing Kulu for adapting to change in AM, but they forget that if Kulu was on the right he may have played better than Johnson there as well. People also forget Maddison AM and Son ST used to work well too so I don't buy into the idea of players are now in their best positions. An interesting sub, kind of an admission that the Kulu-Maddison dual AM "experiment" has limited sustainability. Will be interesting to see if and when it's strategically deployed in future.
then it was an excellent substitution and well done Ange. If the Brighton game is the start of him reacting sooner and also him realising that for these high pressure games it's best to go for a double pivot and get some sort of control in the middle then that might have been a game worth losing.
Fair enough !!
Im still super worried that Ange waits too long to make changes, and today’s result against a weak team at home might not be the catalyst for the change from Spursy=shit to Spursy=awesomeness
Fkn love the win and against the spam even better
Just praying to the great spaghetti monster that it is a true shift for us now
Just happy for the win really… actually fucking stoked! Why is it every time we win at home it’s against a weak team? We can only beat what’s in front of us and West Ham have some top players.
Making a change at half time isn’t soon enough for you ?Im still super worried that Ange waits too long to make changes, and today’s result against a weak team at home might not be the catalyst for the change from Spursy=shit to Spursy=awesomeness

That's why it's such a joyous sending off. Now they'll be even shitter.Until he was sent off I thought kudus was probably the best player on the pitch. He looked far too good for them.
