It’s frustrating as I can’t figure out the level of the players. It’s pretty apparent that Kane has carried the club for 10 years now, shit performances under multiple managers like Jose and Conte only for Kane to save us time after time. We now don’t have Kane.

So it all on our squad and they are up and down all the time. Maybe it’s an AVB situation and Ange is holding them back so when a Pochettino comes in we can bloom or maybe our squad is just average and like all fans we overrate them.

For the record I live up north now and am surrounded by Liverpool, United and even a few City fans. I always take their pulse to try and avoid delusion that comes from being within your own fan group. The general feeling is that we are at best an average squad of players. Other than Son they hardly rate any of our team. Odd comments like Udogie ain’t bad, but that is about it. We might just be shit.

My own view is this is a talented but by very flakey group.
It’s worth reading a few other forums sometimes to get a view on how other clubs see our players. My conclusion is this forum has a band of happy-clapping halfwits who ludicrously over-rate some of our players because they think that’s what being a fan is about. It’s not.

The players we had out there today should have been capable of a comfortable win, no matter who the manager is.

Not saying Ange is blameless, as he should have them up for the battle, but the players are letting us down.
being a manager & coach is more than getting the players up for a game
its about what tacytics & players you use in a game
this clown can only do ONE thing so its easy for good coaches to work on tactics to stop/beat us

So was mullered last week for the above, but turns out it wasn’t a one off.

The stuff I was talking about was all in evidence again today. That score flattered the tactical approach last week, which was frankly a fucking mess. Pedestrian first half again, no one to get hold of the ball in midfield areas and make intelligent or incisive decisions, three midfielders all uncomfortable when pressed.

Then the first sub was fucking nuts. Waiting until 80 mins to bring in Maddison on Bissouma on pffftt.

Again, I’ve been generally supportive of Ange’s ethos and until a couple of weeks ago he’d definitely improved us at both ends on last season. And I acknowledge he’s working with a pretty meh group of players. But his selections and tactical application and in-game management has been worrying for me for a few weeks now. He/We have regressed.

As last weeks posts show, I’m not a scoreline whiner, I can tolerate losing when the fundamentals and underlying basics look ok, but the signs were there last week and have materialised again this week.

you all had a good chuckle - as did about 20 people who liked or chuckled with you. Does last week make any more sense now?
None of those pointless happy clappers are to be taken seriously, we could lose 3 times in a row to Woolwich, twice in a row to Chelsea, concede 60 odd goals and they'd still hype the manager in charge because either they don't understand the sport they claim to watch or they very sadly care about being the most positive and bestest fan on an anonymous forum.

Totally on the happy clappy halfwits, our players are over rated but i think we're in a Ramos / AVB moment where someone will come in and make some of them look a lot better than they're currently showing. We still need 4 or 5 really good new signings mind but this lot are better than the unorganised rabble they look 70% of the time currently.

Nah fuck that actually. Being derided as being a happy clapper because I was pleased we steamrollered Villa and laughed at the idea we should have actually been miserable about it?

Go and stick your head in a microwave.

There is no way we are finishign 4th this season ffs. More likely to finish 14th. Anyone who thinks we will or even likely to are full blown delusional.

I hate to be right, but I've been telling you all for months, since last season, this guy is a fucking fraud.

Just back from the game today, and Ipswich wanted it more. They were sharper to every ball. Stronger, faster. More switched on.

McKenna was constantly cajoling, COACHING his side from the sidelines. Ange stood there like a gormless fraud. Completely out of his depth.

We were so open defensively, so much space in midfield, Ipswich could have scored four or five with better finishing. Just like against Palace. We are tactically awful. He has no in game management, when he has got it right with subs its rare and I put it down to pure luck.

I heard on the radio Matterface also picked up with his non existent in game management, said v Brighton he didn't make subs early enough when it was clear it wasn't working and then they scored the 3rd, and he did it again today.

Why anyone still believes this guy will bring us success, god only knows. Our players are much better than this shower.

We are the definition of midtable, we wil finish anywhere from 8th to 14th under this guy.

This is who Ange is, we will play some silky football one week, and the other we lose to relegation teams. End the experiement. A 60 year old fraud who has only won in Scotland, Japan and Australia. If you say that out loud you realise how pathetic it sounds.

Today was one of the single worst performances I've seen from Spurs. No clue, no idea. Ange out.

The real question is when will Levy get round to sacking him. Because in terms of actual success (or finishing champions league) ok it's definitely going to fail ...you just lost to a piece of shit team like ipswich ffs their playing in pink...he has the players but this team cannot defend and is highly naive and gullible...so losing to Ipswich and palace few weeks before is not a surprise.( No chance in say the uefa cup either cos once you get to knockout your gonna come up against teams that know how yo win one nil) Trust me I've seen some bad tottenham teams but with this team it's guaranteed failure it's obvious we are gonna keep having results like these and in terms of resources at his disposal not acceptable.Obvously Daniel levy is gonna wait until everyone in the country realises ange about as shit as Ardilles (that was the last manager I remember as shit as Ange fucking 1994!!)
Where you gonna go then levy the kike? I thought you were giving tottenham fans their identity back playing robbie williams after beating a top four team like we won the Champions league!! Obviously you'll put in the little disabled kid from PE that everyone feels sorry for ryan mason.. fucking kike mother fucker #levy out #ange out
Kike? Really?
Lose the plot with Levy by all means but fucking hell do you really need to stoop to that kind of insult?
