I said on another thread, there’s always a temptation to over complicate things and build a theory.Tbh that’s a couple of coaches now who don’t seem to fancy him. And he had a questionable past when we signed him.
Think he’s one of those where the fans have seen flashes and don’t understand why he isn’t playing but very quickly would understand if he played consistently.
Depends, battling point against Chelsea followed by 3 wins on the spin against a Championship standard Rangers, Championship bound Southampton and beating United in the cup - and the noise will die down again.
Liverpool will pump us, but there is a decent run of games after that. Forest away - we’ve beaten them in the Prem every game since they came back up, Wolves at home - bogey side in recent years but really shit this year, Newcastle at home - winnable. Then potentially a 2 legged cup semi and Tamworth in the FA cup.
It’s not the most daunting run
you expect him to actually know how to tactically sort it out? if its not working he just thinks its down to the players either not being good enough or not having enough desire. its nothing to do with mighty big ange! hes won the treble in scotland dont you know that?!!There was a moment in the first half when the cameras went on the manager. And he was shaking his head. Rubbing his face aggressively. Swearing to himself etc... And it just really bothered me. Instead of performatively showing everyone just how above this performance you are.... If you're able to see so clearly what they're doing wrong, why dont you give them clear instructions from the touchline like every other manager does. You don't need to wait until half time when there's still 20 odd minutes left.
We've just played Palace, AZ, Ipswich, Fulham, Roma, City and Bournemouth.Depends, battling point against Chelsea followed by 3 wins on the spin against a Championship standard Rangers, Championship bound Southampton and beating United in the cup - and the noise will die down again.

What i think a lot of fans just don't get, is sacking a manager isn't always about who is next.If we are willing to pay the money to get Andoni Iraola then great lets go for it. But if we are just taking whatever free agent (Potter, Southgate, etc) that is available or going down the Ryan Mason road again then what the hell are we at? We need to stick to some sort of plan. For me its either pay the money for Andoni Iraola or stick with Ange. I don't think Levy will pay so I reckon its Ange until May
Ange involved with confrontation with fan's, this is just a matter of time now.
Once again our beloved leader is, presiding over a mess he has helped create.
Club has hired sporting directors, scouts, new manager and a bunch of kids, only to have the worst Tottenham team in years well done all.

That's a fair point. I imagine Harry Redknapp was "happy" with Saha and Nelson at the time. It's a tricky tightrope to walk because you need to keep the chairman onside. I just can't believe Ange is happy with the squad. We have got teenagers in many of our backup roles at the moment. There aren't enough experienced footballers across the whole squad. You'd almost rather bring on Nelson and Saha, who have experience in the game, than rely on Bergvall and Gray who are children. Even Sarr and Kulusevski are still children, relatively.Didn't Ange state he was happy with the squad in the summer? And then went on to remind us that all incomings and outgoings are his call and to cap it off, he ALWAYS wins a trophy in his second season. He could have headed a lot of this off by explaining this is a transition season.
But he's a yes man trying to front Levys illusion of ambition
The logic is Levy sacks managers when the heat is on. He's sacked 10 of his 12 fulltime managers during the season. We'll probably be 12th come Sunday evening. I have no idea if he'll pay up for Frank or Iraola or go down another route but i can guarantee he wont take 5 months of getting abuse and watching us in lower mid table. You are not disappointing me so don't worry about it. I welcome these discussions and debates. I'm having serious doubts about Ange myself as I thought we deserved to lose by 3 or 4 yesterday! I don't take sides in these things, all I want is what is best for the club and I'm starting to think we might have to move on from Ange.
But lets speak in facts and not opinion. Iraola and Frank are the two best options and both are currently in contract in the PL so will be very expensive to get mid season. Has Daniel Levy ever paid a fee for a manager before? That is what prevented us going for Arne slot remember? So I'd assume it is unlikely we bring either of them in before May when Levy knows he can probably get them for next to nothing in the Summer. Or does Levy go for a free agent like Potter? Massive gamble and can't see it. The alternative is we sack Ange and do the Ryan Mason thing again - does that sound likely?
So all 3 scenarios are highly unlikely which makes Ange getting this season very likely. What have I said here that is wrong? This is not opinion and I don't have a horse in this race. I'm just trying to stick to logic and not emotions.
Doing well in shit leagues really went to his head! He is one of the most basic & one dimensional managers I’ve ever seen.Apart from his cluelessness and stubbornness as a manager, it's his sheer arrogance that really makes that I can't stomach him anymore.
I'll always process new information and change my opinion when the time is right. Last night was shocking. I actually don't mind the first half or the result. Losing 1-0 away to Bournemouth given all the players we are missing isn't the biggest shock in the world - in fact most of us expected it. But that second half performance was very worrying and has me now questioning if Ange can turn this slump around.
I think Ange picked the right team and we had a bright start but then concede from our first corner. Udogie at the back post just seems to read the flight of the ball all wrong and instead of taking a backward step, he just jumps and misses the ball and seems completely unaware that a Bournemouth player has ghosted in behind him. Another stupid individual error at a set piece but this in on Ange now. Its the same stupid goals every time. Fool me once, fool me twice, etc etc. Enough is enough.
Next big issue, and this has always been my only critique of Ange. The in game subs.... Christ! I said after the Palace game that we had zero shape when chasing the game because he was just taking off midfielders for forwards who just all ended up in eachothers way. Well yesterday was even worse! He takes off Sarr for Son and instantly Bournemouth start cutting us up like a knife through butter. I get that move though because it moved Deki central but this was a big gamble. Then with 15 to go when the game is still very much there, he takes off Maddison and Bissouma for Werner and Bergval. I felt so sorry for Bergval. He was basically playing as the lone 6 for the 15 mins he was on the pitch and Bournemouth were running through us. So we ended the game with some strange type of 4 1 5 formation because Kulusevski stayed up the pitch too. Son and Werner were getting in eachothers way out on the left. It was shocking and didn't need to happen. We were well in the game with our shape but he just threw on attackers with no plan. We should have been punished and been beating 4-0! That second half yesterday was very very concerning.
I still wouldn't put it past us to go and beat Chelsea next week (depends on Romero's availability). I think it all depends on if we can score early as that forces the other team to push up against us and we tend to play our best football then. Right now the hallmark to beating us is to park the bus and time waist so to make sure we get into no momentum and then wait for us to make a sloppy defensive error. Then once we go behind they know Ange will get the subs all wrong and it'll be easy then to go and score a few on transition.
What really disappoints me is I thought Ange had learned his lesson. Taking off Maddison for Sarr at 1-1 against West Ham looked defensive on paper but what it actually did was just gave us the correct shape to dominate West Ham in midfield and ultimately have more ball in their final third. Shape is everything in football and thats a few times now he's thrown it out the window when chasing a game.
i dont put bissouma with that lot for being a bit of a fairy, he needs leaders and men around him though. In this league (and top level football in general) it's not just about trying to play pretty football. You need to win the battles without the ball. You need to do the dirty work. Ange thinks just having the ball and trying to play is enough. Maybe in the j league or a 1 team league in Scotland but not at this level. We have absolutely no resilience about us (see Brighton game) and don't do what it takes to win games.
This filters down from the manager that only wants to have possession of the ball neglecting all other areas of the game. You need players that can battle as well as ones that can play or some that can do both. We don't have any and this is epitomised by the likes of Johnson, maddison,Son,bissouma etc. You need wanyamas and dembeles and parkers in your team it's an absolute necessity if you want to atleast even try to be a serious club.
One of my issues with Ange is how much he tows the company line. Said he was happy with summer transfer business and he would rather have two £50m players instead of one £100m player.
Jealous of rivals who see a gap in their team and fill it with a "superstar". See Allison, Van Dijk and Declan Rice.
Scum go for rice and we go for £30m bissouma.
