I neither support nor call for the head of Levy. Unlike many on here, I don't work myself into a lather over the bloke. Why? Because there's absolutely nothing I can do about how he runs the club.

It's not that difficult to understand that supporting the club means supporting the playing staff primarily, which includes the manager and coaches.

The Chairman doesn't even figure in my thinking as a supporter. Having said that, the one and only time I've called for a head to roll at Tottenham, was Scholar's, because he almost killed my club. Levy isn't even close to that level.
Oh it's pretty difficult to understand that you're so apathetic over the ONE man responsible for running the whole club for 24 years now.
Personally (not that you've asked) I can appreciate he's done some very good and smart things in his time - the "no trophies" narrative is too narrow. But having spent all those years slowly building us up and finally nearly getting us to the top of the mountain with Poch, he's royally fucked things up since 2019. He's now clearly not fit for purpose on the footballing side - which is the only side a true supporter like yourself should care about??

THFC has always been one of the most tempestuous relationship in my life - it's given me unparalleled highs and human nature normally dictates that conversely will be accompanied by anger/seething disappointment when things are going wrong.
Daniel Levy is key to the attainment of those highs or lows. So for you to have no real view on him? - forgive me but I can't understand that.

P.S. Oh and Levy almost moved us to Stratford and killed our club...

I remember going to stoke away under poch first year. We got hammered 3 nil. Poch after sneaked off down tunnel by away fans. Not sure why ange went to fans after game yesterday. Perhaps he needed a wake up call.

One of my issues with Ange is how much he tows the company line. Said he was happy with summer transfer business and he would rather have two £50m players instead of one £100m player.

Jealous of rivals who see a gap in their team and fill it with a "superstar". See Allison, Van Dijk and Declan Rice.

Scum go for rice and we go for £30m bissouma.
Regularly defended Ange but the fact is that we saw reports of him wanting senior pros like N Williams, Eze, Gallagher, and Neto he decided to say he was more than happy going with youngsters but his team selection clearly shows that he doesn't think they are as ready as he was making out in the summer.

He also had to be expecting another injury crisis at some point so what was the plan behind keeping Spence as a FB if he had no plans to use him. The club clearly told him that he wasn't getting another full back so he did the same as every other manager and allowed the player to get hyped up as making a comeback.

Asked Postecoglou about Spurs spending almost £100m on teenagers which doesn't help him in the short term:

"It is still the right decision and I own them [transfers] because I believe they are the right decisions for this club. I make these decisions with the background that I’m going to be here for a while to see this through.

To be honest, if I was worried about my own existence I would have fought tooth and nail to block Harry Kane leaving but it wasn’t the right decision for the club because he was in the last year of his contract. That is not what drives me.

The decisions we made around signing young players are the right decisions for this club for where we are at right now and they will bear fruit. Yeah we have [lost experience] but we needed to do that. We needed to do that because it was a team that was coming towards the end of its cycle and we were rebuilding not just the squad but the playing style and you couldn’t replace experience with experience because that is not a rebuild.

That is kind of topping up because you feel you are close to something and we weren’t close to anything."

The number one worst thing he did was giving the OK to another season of Werner, half a season to help with depth last year was just about understandable but having seen how useless he is why was he signed again?

Our recruitment is a big issue, as much as the manager. A lack of determination and winning mentality is a massive problem. Only deki seems to have any balls. Everyone else are not up to scratch mentality wise. You need this more than pure talent in the Premier League. We have become soft tottenham again.
Should have signed eze last summer and isak. 160m would have got both them. Instead paid for potential players.

I think this forum is giving me depression 😬

Just put the people who disagree with you on ignore

And those potential players get sold as soon as they get close to reaching their potential.

Looks at the players we have hitting prime years and building their profiles, Romero and Porro for example, we all know they won't be here long and the ones that stay will be the ones who weren't good enough to sell.

Adeyemi and gittens id have from dortmund straight away. Thats the wingers sorted out. But thats too bog for levy. Defender guehi, eze. All reachable if we coughed up. Goyokes from sporting. Thats the targets we should go for, not risk signings.

I actually cringe when people roll out the “Ange is a proven winner” without giving context to what he’s won. I get it, winning ANYTHING is at least a base level of decent in professional football, but there are levels to it.

Moyes won a European trophy with West Ham, would you want him? Roberto Martinez won a trophy with Wigan, would you want him? Ten Hag won a couple with United? Are you replacing Ange yet? After all, these are all proven winners.

Winning in Scotland with Celtic is like winning a one legged race but you were allowed to drive. The J league and the Aussie league just aren’t on any kind of comparable level to winning things in a decent league.

I can completely understand the idea of not wanting to just always replace the manager, I can completely understand wanting to give a project time, but the amount of people who have their heads in the sand with this romantic idea that a bloke in his sixties, who’s landed his first job in a proper league, who openly admits to not thinking set pieces matter, who brought no coaching staff with him, who says that plan b is “do plan A better” and thinks he’s a footballing savant because he used to carry Puskas shopping is crazy.

He isn’t bristly in interviews because his great idea isn’t being executed, he isn’t abrupt in interviews because he’s “coaching wins” the players can’t enforce, he’s bristly and abrupt, shuffling round looking at his feet and snapping back because it’s dawned on him that he’s now well above a level he’s capable of, is completely out of his depth, and doesn’t understand why properly coached teams with a thought out tactical plan aren’t just rolling over for him like they do in the naff leagues he’s managed in till now.

Levy is the biggest problem, but let’s not act like Ange is a genius coach who would win pots left right and centre.
Yeah a proven winner in minor leagues isn’t a proven winner in proper leagues. It’s Like me managing ‘Celtic slamdunks’ to victory in the Scottish basketball league. Then going to the NBA & proclaiming to be a proven winner.
It’s crazy how his fan boys can’t see the difference.

Think we could all write a long list of players we should be targeting who could help us win now.

If they are good enough to win things right now, 90% of the time they can demand wages Levy won't pay.
