Changing managers every 18 months is just stupid. There’s no way that gets us results and the reality is this squad is not good enough. We ran into the same issue last year with both CBs out, and several other injuries. While we have one of the richest clubs in the planet, we still don’t have the depth and quality to compete at the top level, irrespective of who we have manage.

And, Ange has been excellent. He’s given us hope that this ragtag crew that’s been assembled might actually be able to compete. That’s his downfall. If we had another manager, we’d just see this stark realisation that we’re not good enough. Instead, he’s been so good in building this, that we think we are good enough to challenge for things and when the true colours show, we’re left wanting.

Big teams want managers who play expansive. If one of them wanted Frank he would've gone by now.

If we're going to continue this transfer strategy he would be a good option. It would be better than staying at Brentford who have a very low ceiling.
Frank's problem is that he hasn't won anything either.

Amorim won the Portuguese league for the first time in 19 years or something, which is tough to do but at the same time Sporting always have one of the top 3 wage bills in that league so they SHOULD be winning that league.

I'd argue that getting Brentford into the prem for thee first time in their history and achieving the league finishes they do, with one of the lowest wage budgets is harder to do but Man UTD will always look at the glamour name and trophies. Frank doesn't even have the appeal of a big market for TV rights and shirt sales like Ange does with Australia either.

If we bring Iraola and continue the same transfer policy the result will be the same.
I think we'd get better results because he's a far superior coach and will get more out of what he has available. He'd also adapt within each game as the situation demands.
There would obviously be a glass ceiling we'd fail to break through though so long as we remain in the shackles of Levy / ENIC

He's done well but I wouldn't be surprised if he faced the same limitations that Ange has now.

He'll have a thin squad and be expected to get them performing twice a week. He doesn't have to deal with that at Bournemouth.
