I get the point you make. However, had he simply fucked off down the tunnel at the end, he would probably have been accused of being a coward and disrespecting the travelling fans by not even acknowledging their efforts.
It was a no win situation imo.
I suppose he now has a reason to fuck off down the tunnel after a shit performance rather than try to acknowledge the fans and getting a load of abuse.
It does all have an “end of days” feel to it at the moment.
Something I noticed was the guy to intervene was Djed Spence, who hasn’t been treated well.

All these aussie and jock ange fans on social media are fucking deluded and a pain in the arse. Far worse than the Jose ones. Worth binning him off just to see the back of these deluded clueless fools. Greatest manager we've ever had apparently 😂
There's some cringey ones on Reddit giving it the "Spurs don't deserve a manager as good as Ange". It even got the Gooners on there laughing them away.

As much as I am unhappy with the up and down nature of how we play etc, I still don't know if I want Ange sacked or not.
I really don't think hiring and firing is working at all, we have had 2 of the best managers in Football and we were still useless at times.
I'm just not sure , the only thing I would say is Ange has at least tried to get some kind of exciting football to watch on occasions and tried to get some kind of footballing identity.
where do we go from here? and who with? and will we be back in the shit in 18 months with another manager?

They're so embarrassing. Few of them had us in a title challenge first season ... oh Ange is so fucking perfect, second season you will realise how amazing he is and you'll be transformed, just you guys wait ...

Fuck off.

I came on this site when Spurs were considering signing Angi to warn you against it....

"Just a word to those of you looking forward to Angie as your manager.......
....... If you want to judge Angie's quality as a manager, you can't look to his accomplishments in a bigoted Scotland or in a Japanese league, judge his tactics when Celtic play European opposition ......
..... Celtics results in Europe are embarrassing and Angie's tactics are naive - even against teams who aren't in the top leagues.
At best, Angie's managerial skills are at a mid Championship league level and that's pushing it.
....... Ange, to make a long story short is - sh*te!"

And what did I get for trying to do you a favour - fuckin' dog's abuse .... then again, it wasn't quite as bad as calling me 'a fat cunt'. LMFAO

So, based on the appeciatiation I got for giving you advice that turned out to be true, I'd say, along with karma, you got what you fuckin deserve, didn't yi!

cheerio!
Donna Cullen baby that you?

One of my issues with Ange is how much he tows the company line. Said he was happy with summer transfer business and he would rather have two £50m players instead of one £100m player.

Jealous of rivals who see a gap in their team and fill it with a "superstar". See Allison, Van Dijk and Declan Rice.

Scum go for rice and we go for £30m bissouma.
Come on he has has money spent and for spurs level he has had more than others. His job is to coach a team of players who are not superstars. We are not city or chavs. We need to buy sensibly and with some nois. Like other teams do. Even Bayern don’t spend billions. Dippers spend but not always big. Mac and Grav about £35M each. Ange knew what to expect. Also in what way do we give a journeyman manager like Ange £100M players. He doesn’t have a rep of a pep or Carlo.

Your opinion is entirely based on your hatred of Celtic more than anything so wasn't very valuable then and still isn't now.

Couldn't give a shit about what you think of our manager. And I'm not even one of Anges big fans.

Cheerio.

Yeah, it was. I guess the hope was Archie Gray would be playing midfield by now and would be on a similar level to Bissouma and Bentancur. Instead he's been used as a back up right back! Thats the big one really. Even losing Skipp depleted the squad. There is no guarantee that Bergval is any better than Skipp right now and he is the player we are turning to every game with bentancur out for 7 matches
Ange rubber stamped all this your hero😀

Tbh that’s a couple of coaches now who don’t seem to fancy him. And he had a questionable past when we signed him.

Think he’s one of those where the fans have seen flashes and don’t understand why he isn’t playing but very quickly would understand if he played consistently.
No we don’t know that and when he has played this season v cov and manure he looked good. No worse than destiny or porro. It’s easy narrative to say he is not good enough bcos managers are not picking him. From my eye test I think he looks to be a baller. Good on the ball, pace and powerful. I’d love to see him play wide right in place of Johnson with porro behind him to provide overlap.

Completely agree. It would be the final nail in the coffin of our transition into a midtable side which Ange has started. You can't keep signing midtable managers and midtable players and expect to become a CL side. Frank's football has a ceiling.

Spurs need to find a manager who is wily enough to be able to turn richer teams over by getting the edge tactically on them. A manager whose style of play will be effective against the best teams in the PL and Europe. A manager who can organise a defence. A manager who has excellent in game management. A manager who brings a world class coaching team with him. A manager who has a balanced philsophy. All of the things Ange isn't.

It isn't easy no, but that is what we need to aim for. Frank is definitely not that person. Nor is Potter.

I would go for Iraola and I think he ticks a lot of the boxes I just listed.

We need to be going for the best managers in Europe if we want to compete. But I don’t think that’s the plan anymore.

I think our current team is most effective when playing more direct, fast transitions football. In fact our best performances have come after we’ve done just that against Man Utd and Man City. I think Bournemouth’s currently the most direct team in the league if we look at the stats, right?

The likes of Iraola, Frank, Potter and Silva are the lowest hanging fruits. Nothing against them, any of them may turn out wonderful here but that's not the point. They'd just indicate poor due diligence and low imagination. It doesn't have to be a decision between the geographically most convenient option and some random guy who's doing a half decent job in an obscure league. Find a middle ground.
