I have to admit, I'm all over the place with Ange.
Post Palace/Ipswich I was on the out side but then along comes Saints, Man U and the last two pressers where he genuinely opens up about who we are mate and I'm in again.
It's doing my head in.
So, having spent the day reflecting and having had a glass or two, fuck it. I'm in.
Not sure my old ticker will handle it but I'll go out entertained.

And bought him VDV, Maddison, Udogie joined for the season, Brennan Johnson, Dragusin, Vicario..

Also no not last season! This one! Ipswich and Leicester when full strength. We were full strength for Palace and Woolwich too. Why do people act like our form fell apart post injuries, we were a bit rubbish before them..
VDV and Maddison were players the club should have signed years prior to Ange arriving, they were essentially replacements for Vertonghen and Eriksen signed years too late.

Likewise Vicario, a serviceable at best replacement for Lloris that should have been signed 2/3 years earlier than he was.

Udogie was a LWB signed by Paratici for Contes 523 system that has been moulded into a talented if flawed inverted LB.

Dragusin is a backup CB that was signed after Ange had been left half a season with only 2 CBs.

The above is not backing a manager. It’s doing the absolute bare minimum needed to keep us semi competitive after the squad had been left to rot for years.

Results are all over the place Arteta has had 5 years at Woolwich and been backed way more than Ange , that is an indisputable fact . They have 30 points from 16 games so averaging less than 2 points per game , current trajectory that gives them a low to mid 70’s total . Where we sit is not ideal but Ange has had less time , less money and now has the added issue of a toxic fan base chanting Levy out , a sentiment admittedly I share . He is NOT the issue imho

Our squad is an absolute fecking joke in terms of both depth and quality by comparison to our main rivals .

EDIT: There are smaller clubs above us , none of which have an injury crisis, or European football or are in the latter stages of the Carabao Cup

Fuck me Leicester won a league title cos things fell that way

Conte blanked Maddison supposedly.

Are you really sure you want to be entertained?

I have a nice, calming shot of Sir Gareth Southgate waiting to double defensive pivot you gently into your final years.

Yours Sincerely

It is a fine line isn’t it. Not shout and scream at the players and let them work things out for themselves and it shows that you have faith and belief in their ability to do that.

He’s said recently he doesn’t want the players to pass it back to the keeper but move the ball up field instead or come to other solutions, that’s what he means by that.

It isn’t possible to play the same way for 90 minutes but I’m actually, and I’ve said this about a hundred times in the last two years, more pissed at the players for their naivety and lack of game management. Go down faking injury, take the ball to the corner, take ages over set pieces. Do the things the other teams do, but we don’t. We don’t lose that game v Brighton if we do that for example. There’s countless other times. It took an 18 year old in bergval to do it last night so if a kid can play that type of game then the others can too.

Oh look a post about Deuterz so Bonaspur has appeared like some obsessed parasitic creature.
Strange how you think everyone who mentions your pathetic posts are somehow 'obsessed' with you?....🤔
Here's a novel idea.....stop making dozens of posts a day basically slagging off our club and everything about us and arse licking other clubs, notably Woolwich...and then you may find people won't be 'obsessed' with you so much?....🤷‍♂️

Like 3 people aren’t everyone. There are people who don’t like me who manage to avoid it, and then sad acts like you who constantly quote me despite me never quoting you ever unless you directly engage with me.

You represent loads of things I hate (EDL). I have zero respect for you as a person, yet I manage to avoid stalking you round the forum. It’s not hard.

They gave him that time because he won the FA cup in his first year and they got better every year after that.
If Ange wins a cup this year we should do the same and keep him for atleast another 1 or 2 years to see some progress.
If he does well, offer him a contract extension.

You don't even know me as an individual you fool. You're simply guessing about me because i sided with Baz rather than your nonsense. Honestly fella, if you think i care that a gooner doesn't like me, then think again! I will continue to highlight your Spurs hatred and your gooner love wherever i see it....thanks for the tip though....👍

makes me laugh reading idiots talk about player errors lol. the kamikaze tactics puts unnecessary stress on certain players and guess what stress causes???

if you're going to keep asking forster to play out you're going to get cheap goals against you. 3-0 up and ends up being 4-3 and a goal that wouldnt of been given had VAR been in use.

to be fair, hes got some cult idiots, the other lot are just idiots who just haven't got a clue what they are talking about anyway lol. player errors....,

There's a keeper not good with his feet and then there is whatever Frase thought he was doing.

He won the FA Cup and that helped. IF Ange wins a League cup we should do the same.

I don't believe he means all that "are you not entertained - it's who were are mate" schtick (it's just the Australian version of Luis Enrique flouncing at journalists for asking stupid questions about tactics) but it's starting to get on my tits all the same.

It's a deflection from actually answering why we are still getting basketball after a year and a half. I mean he still has to deflect, but there's better deflection, injuries, kids etc etc, than his "entertainers" schtick, which is inviting ridicule. A few months ago he was fuming with the fans for not wanting to win a game, which I was kind of with him on, but now he's dishing out an equally daft/irritating message - even if it's smoke and mirrors.

The context is different. This WAS a crazy game. It WAS entertaining. His managing style can be accused of being many things but boring is never one of them.

The funny thing is, the turgid negative tactics of Jose and Conte were an ever-present grinding problem for the whole fanbase, we were all annoyed by it.

Whereas Ange's refusal to lock down games with a lead is like a dog whistle that drives one contingent of fans completely insane while others wonder what all the bother is about.

My New Year's resolution is to enjoy the games and let time and the table be the arbiter when it comes to the manager.
