So why did we score to make it 2-1? We scored 3 very nice goals imo. Ultimately this match went to script. The fan base is showing a lot of patience because the squad is decimated and we copped them with a full weeks rest...and it is a full weeks rest as they had the luxury of changing an entire starting 11 in the cup.

Now it’s all we hear “well it’s always entertaining here at Spurs” and yet we are going nowhere. We can hide behind injuries, but it’s clear where this is going. We’re a school team managed by one of the dads.

Of all the things I want this club to win, the hearts and minds of neutral fans is bottom of the list. Now our own fans are buying into it, “let’s sing his name, it’s entertaining isn’t it!” No, it isn’t, I want us to be a proper football club trying to win things.

In the summer, we won’t have won any trophies but will get to some quarters and semis, we’ll finish atrociously midtable - some of our better players will go and play to compete elsewhere, due to being midtable we’ll attract an even lower standard of player as we’ll be shopping in a different store. The same fans will be wondering how it went so wrong all whilst singing the name of our competition winner manager whilst we go and try and turn over Fulham in a “hoping to be top half” six pointer.

It’s not even that it’s the worst. We ARE capable of incredible highs as well. It’s the defensive naivety that’s the glaringly obvious issue.

And the lack of a plan B. You cannot set up to play your A game against the best sides but defend like this because they will fuck you up the arse all game long. Sure, you’ll get chances and goals but they’ll outscore you.

Absolutely. Like Levy he has played a lot of our fanbase to have no expectations and just enjoy watching this clowshow every week because there are a ton of goals. Said it before, he's the first 'post results' manager. Its all spiel in pressers, its the way we play etc and a lot lap it up. The only thing he's good at is PR and expectation management. Honestly think he's up there with our worst 3 or 4 managers of the last 40 years.
