This team has only shown glimpses of the football he's sides are known for. Yes the opposition is better, but so too are his players, and, really, the jump to the EPL is mostly about the clinical finishing. Mistakes get punished.

However he should be able to impart his *style* of play better than he has because his other sides have done it against top shelf opposition equal to any in the EPL eg Real Madrid.

Many of us have seen the *way* his other teams play, even against high quality opposition. This isn't it and I called it out even in the 10 game streak he had early on.

I watched the Liverpool game again. The contrast in player ability betwen the sides was huge. The Spurs team that was on the pitch *was* a mid-table team. A C- Grade keeper, an inexperinced makeshift back four , a midfield that can't make a simple pass or goes missing for large swathes of the game, and an aging second striker/winger supporting a mid-tier striker leading the line.

Another manager will get more out of them but its still 6-10 place squad.

He will not achieve what he is aiming for with this group of players, and really that is all that matters.

Exactly, the standard in Scotland is so bad and Celtic are so far ahead of the pack it's impossible to draw conclusions from it.

I'd go so far as to say it makes more sense to look at his time in the J-League and also Australia (won an Asia Cup, no mean feat).

I'm not a Celtic fan so you should call bullshit on the opinions of people who can not be objective. That would be smart..Deary me do hear your blind faith it's cringe. Do it yourself, then you'd have an opinion worth listening to. There are sites you can watch whole games on. And I repeat you should be talking about his Yokohama's football because it's a higher standard than SPL.Thats not an opinion that's statistical fact. As for the squad it's good enough to get fifth but the people coaching are only good enough to get 10th to 8th.

The squad you are now hiding behind is Ange's squad. Johnson, Maddison, VDV, Dragusin, in Dier and Hojbjerg out these are Anges choices. You are actually making him look worse as it's his judgment that has us were we are. Prehaps.hide behind one game against Madrid, but then have a look at his wider europen record there it's terrible. It's not a fluke the longer he has the more input he has, the more money he spends the worse Spurs get, that's another fact not faith or supposition.

Gray looks awful, Bergvall not that talented either.

Why can’t people just be objective about how shit he is at identifying players.

Why do they keep hiding behind Celtic SPL is lower internationally ranked league than Japan. Ange took a step backwards going there. It's ridiculous the fantasy these deniers wrap themselves in.

Soooo we’ve upgraded loads of the squad but fallen to 11th.

You guys can’t have it both ways. Personally, there’s zero chance he ‘identified’ Bergvall or Gray for example. That isn’t his role. It isn’t any coaches role in 2024.

He isn't shit about identifying players.I don't believe he does. Maddison was identified before Ange as was Johnson. He could have prime Ronaldinho and Nesta we are not winning a raffle with this tactical setup or system. Made point 100 times. If we were not playing the football we are we'd not be reliant on development team players, however good they are.
