When the better defenders are playing, the opposition tactics are to park the bus. What a compliment to the Spurs’ game style

Postecoglou has broken a goal scoring record in the EPL. This means everything! As soon as he gets experienced and talented defenders back into the line up, the winning streak will be huge. The reason Tottenham scores so many goals is due to the way his team plays. He just needs better defenders and possibly a better keeper. The keeper should’ve cut the angle further on the first goal conceded. He should’ve been out further and not showing that much of his far post, even though a handball contributed to the goal.
AgreeYeah it’s why when the next guy comes in, the players with a bit of basic defensive training, should improve performances quite quickly. Just some proper structure so that teams don’t break on us and have a chance at goal would be appreciated.
I would add to that when we are on the attack, watch how many times the players pass the ball to a player in the wrong place, it’s never properly to feet, it’s always just before or in front of them, especially when we are on the break. Or the players aren’t in the right position to receive the ball. That’s basic coaching they aren’t getting and I think our coaching staff are part of the problem. They are need clearing out with him. An expensive process I suspect levy isn’t ready for.
As long as they weren’t injured or had their confidence shotI’m not ange in or ange out but if indeed. We have lost 9 games by one goal would that suggest with additional signings these defeats get turned into wins?
For example two new wingers who can cross balls or god forbid take on a defender?
Just thinking like.
I think so
Not that expensive. Really a few hundred K or a few mill maxYeah it’s why when the next guy comes in, the players with a bit of basic defensive training, should improve performances quite quickly. The other problem is the handful of good players we have will want out.If you're a good player, you wouldn't want to join this club today. The CL final and our time as a competitive club seems to be coming to an end. Soon we could be Everton.
A top player will not want to sign for a club playing Angeball. It's different if you have a Mourinho or Conte managing your team, but why should you put your career in the hand of Ange? The current laughing stock of English football. You wouldn't if you were a top player. The only other thing that can lure them to the club is higher wages than in other clubs, but that's not going to happen either.
You know that you by signing here will be playing second fiddle to BJ. I think most players can do without that.
Even Man Utd is losing it's luster. Imagine then what Spurs will become.

If they can leave, other clubs will buy them. This isn't a problem unless their contracts are running out or coming to an end.
It really is something when we applaud a team because they kept Newcastle from scoring for 45 mins. With the performance of the kids I mentioned? Yes of course.
Austin, Porro, Spence, Gray. Reguillon.
That back five kept Newcastle out for 45 minutes. And Bergvall was immense. Of course proper Spurs fans applauded them. It was an incredible achievement.
You are confusing being happy for some of players with being happy for a result. Seeing as I - like most - expected a thrashing today, the performance was quite far beyond what we expected.
Remind me what top players we’ve signed ?If you're a good player, you wouldn't want to join this club today. The CL final and our time as a competitive club seems to be coming to an end. Soon we could be Everton.

Yes, that's true. The favouritism in the team is so obvious. Some of our best players are being marginalized. Son, Madders, Spence, even Reggie from what I saw yesterday. The other problem is the handful of good players we have will want out.
Yes, especially as they were already leading and only had to defend one side. Ange's attack is just unbelievably predictable. It really is something when we applaud a team because they kept Newcastle from scoring for 45 mins.
Wow, rock bottom.![]()
Players move for money add in the fact we are a London club and we should have no problem securing top talent, as long as we are willing to pay the wages! If you're a good player, you wouldn't want to join this club today. The results are hounding him out of the job.looks like bbc have decided he needs to go based on the current headline. They like to hound managers out of jobs
