He should just be sacked on league form, like most other managers at other clubs typically are.

With the medical team turnover news it seems like Levy and the club have bought into the 'injury crisis' narrative. That's fine- we all know our medical team have been questionable for years now and in need of reform, but it does appear to have taken the pressure off Ange for now at least.

Ange has been financially backed more than any Spurs manager before him. He's had hundreds of millions invested in to players and with that investment he is 12th.

He continually has praised the board for the business done.

That's Antonio Conte. The most winnningest of managers whoLevy begged to come to Spurs. Even that guy said the company line at the end of the window.

Ange has said it repeatedly, and even when the team is in the absolute shit he has towed the company line. Why? Because this is the opportunity of a lifetime for him. He's been promoted well above his station and he knows it. No other club would be stupid enough to give him a top 6 PL club job. His career when he is sacked from here will be back to the Celtic tier football clubs where he belongs.

I remember watching a Gold video around the time we signed him. He was VERY convinced that Brennan was who Ange wanted most and in fact if we signed anyone else then we had missed out on his top target as perfect for his system.

Sure. But what were the other options presented to him?

You know how this works. Manager is given a short list and has to choose. Now if Nico Williams or even Mbeumo were on that list I wouldn't making this argument. But we don't know do we?

All we know is that BJ replaced Kane in August 2023 and has actually, for all his faults, scored and assisted a LOT.

So it's piss poor bat to beat the manager with when there are much better bats to beat him with.
