This Santa cunt is a real let down for sure...

I agree that there is something wrong when so many players get injured 2 season in a row...but, contrary to what I've read on various social media, Solanke did have a few injuries before he joined Spurs:

Nope I'm reliably informed that Ange Postecoglou personally takes a rusty saw to our players hamstrings and a sledgehammer to their knees as part of his grueling training ground routines.

Then coughs Tuberculosis all over them while their in rehab.

Monster

To me, this is the only thing that makes sense as to why Ange is still in a job. They already know their list of guys they really want but none are willing to join til the summer, so they need a firefighter for 6 months (à la Hiddink) and that is proving harder to find.

Yeah. For me, it doesn't make sense to sack Ange for the likes of Mason. Even losing the cup semi and being in a relegation scrap, I wouldn't necessarily trust a caretaker manager to do better until the end of the season. Levy made that mistake with sacking Conte and things getting worse.

The problem is, if Ange does for example lose to Everton, I'd have to just admit he is utterly clueless in the Premier League and needs replaced ASAP. Normally I back managers until the end of the season, but if Ange loses versus Everton and Iraola or Xabi come in right away, I think it would be better for all parties.

If a 10-nil drubbing meant we saw the back of this clown with Iraola in post by the end of January then I'd buy an Everton shirt tonight.
Unfortunately he'll get wins against everton and leicester and this will put off the inevitable...can't stand this much more...if he's here for the rest of the season I'm taking a sabbatical...my new career will fill in the time until he's gone...

you don't want much do you
we have to lose to Everton AND replace the manager with Iraola or Xabi RIGHT AWAY
can see you like Ange

Spurs supporters wanting the team to lose so that they 'get their man out" is the dumbest fucking arguement I've heard.

You'd rather lose and get the manager out than win - is that what you're saying?

Lose the next five games and have Ange out than win the next five games? Fuck me

There's only one fucking melt talking about losing five or six and he can't seem to see that maybe some want Ange to lose one game so he gets fucked off as a new man will be better for the future of the club that has been on a downward spiral after those mythical first 10 games (that retrospectively was only a new manager bounce under this fucking Antipodean fraud).

It feels a lot like the 90s, tbf - season feeling pretty much over apart from the odd cup-run. No real hope of winning the cups and players who only Spurs fans have heard of.

Oh - except we used to win at home and chill out in 9/10th for most of the season. Don’t remember quite so much jeopardy.

And oppo teams turning up expecting a Conte/Mou counter-attacking game so forgetting to sit back a little. As soon as they sat in, it all went to sh*t.

I think they’re discussing hypotheticals. Of course everyone would rather Ange wins and turns it around.

There’s no evidence it’s gonna’ happen. They want the plaster torn off.

Unlike Mou and Conte, the manager’s not mouthing off to get fired, so it’s an understandable desire to be put out of our misery.

However, of course, we would all rather a win and a visible improvement.
