"Hello do you want to be absolutely stinking rich, living in London with the guarantee of a multimillion pound payoff if it doesn't work?"

Yeah sounds good to me.

He's not trading in Europe and his career trajectory for 1 game a week at the Elephant's Graveyard for managers. Bournemouth are a well run club, we are not. Bill Folley will ensure Iraola is well compensated for getting them into Europe.

Our best chance is getting a better coach from an equally poorly run club. I'm thinking Marco Silva.

Iraola has a better chance replacing Pep than he does Ange.

I'll save the 10 grand, the last thing I want is Fat Ange's band of sprint merchants snapping their hamstrings over my charred remains.
Probably just as well

Forget to mention that the small print details that they'll dig up your remains and chuck them in a garbage bin after 2 years to make room for a new intake

Legacy remains clearly not important to the club

All about the tourist corpses

Honestly I wouldn't say no to Allardyce right now.

Can never say never.
Well, his contract has $12M left on it over 2 years. And it wouldn't shock me if there was a penalty clause that made the buyout even higher than that. Then you have to pay him, at minimum, the same salary.

Let's assume we can break Ange's deal at half price because we're so shit. That £5M buyout for Ange, £10M buyout for Poch, £5M salary for Poch...£20M on the manager.

Think we can say never.

A manager that cannot adapt, particularly at the highest level cannot succeed. The PL is too competitive, and any mistakes tend to be capitalised on.
How he's incapable of adapting is ridiculous in itself. He talks about morals and philosophy to the players, and yet adapting to changes is relevant to life.

The scary thing is he was frightened into adapting today and yet he still refused to do it sensibly.

Everyone was crying out to see Archie as our CDM but he chose to play him as RCB in a three instead.

Good.

If Pochettino didn't come back in the summer of 2023, then he ain't coming back. Why would the club and Pochettino be on board with a reunion now when they weren't then? That was the obvious time to do it if it was ever going to happen

You're right. I've never liked the positioning of our players, at times we have less passing options, and we have to rely on individual brilliance, mainly Kulu's signature cross to create a chance.
Ange overthought his tactics. A simple formation and tactical basis, such as a low block, press as a unit, and counter attack would have been efficient.
Our players are superior to theirs, despite our injuries, so what's stopping us from at least achieving a draw? Football is a simple game at times.
