I would say to Porro or any player that says in an interview that we still love the manager. Words aren't good enough. You can't be so feeble and easily bullied as you were at Goodison. As you were in the majority of games in recent memory, and then turn around and say we're still fully behind him. They have to show it.

So if they don't want the buck to stop with the manager, They do have the power to make sure it doesn't. But they need to have a look at themselves and start proving that they want him to stay by playing like it. Because nice words aren't going to cut it when we're .... 15th.

he might be at Teams like Std Liege, Ghent, Young Boys, Salzburg

Yeah, where he will probably do ok. Relative to the league he will have overwhelming strength, he won't need to adapt in matches at all or be overly tactical.

They will all fail horribly in Europe - like Celtic - but they will dominate their domestic leagues and play fun footie.

I thought the bolded bit very telling. A lot of contentious players do extra but we’ve got to wonder if the other who have been injured are or if they are having to get more help externally because they aren’t getting it from within the club.
Wondered the same.

I think there is a case to be made that playing this intense requires players who have that extra level of professionalism and dedication.
Kulusevski has been bionic this season and we know what his attitude is like. Kane learned to be available all the time, Hojberg was mega professional.

Maybe it’s a culture within the playing staff that needs to be developed if you want to play with the intensity to win?

Its a meaningless interview. I wouldn't expect or want him to say anything else. He is a professional being asked about his current boss in an interview with a club journalist. If he started saying the training is terrible then he would be an awful professional and struggle to find another club who wanted his services.

What's our average league position in the 21st century before this season?
6.4166667. So a top 7 team. 🤣🤣

Sort of besides the point though. We’re talking about how attractive a currently 15th team, that seems to have a complete crisis of leadership, is to a manager of a 7th or 11th placed club. Clubs who have a strategy for what they’re trying to achieve on the pitch.

Above all else, we have learned this season that 90% of our squad is not good enough or a complete pussy, or made of dreams and whimsy.

Anyone feeling pleased with themselves because Pedro Porro didn't cricise Ange's training sessions

WE ARE 15TH IN THE LEAGUE

let's throw a party

Who cares?

Porro himself by the way currently resembling TAA at his absolute worst with almost none of the stuff that Trent does well either.

Fif-fucking-teenth. This was meant to be the season we built on 5th and at the very least were fighting for top four. We are behind a Palace side who are actually having a poor season. The worst United side ever. West fucking Ham who have sacked a manager already. Brentford. And we were 3-0 down to Everton who Moyes had managed for a week or so.

Its actually hard to be any worse than we currently are. This is quite literally as bad as it could possibly ever get for a big 6 side.

It’s not about that though is it?

The question is about Ange shouldering the blame for injuries and specifically if his system or training is responsible.

The overwhelming, anecdotal evidence is that he isn’t. There’s nothing to throw a party about but at least it can help steer the focus towards actually working out what is behind this latest crisis.

Who cares? We're 15th in the league. Any other questions about Ange and his methods are irrelevant.

He's doing absolutely and utterly terribly and I hope the club are looking at a replacement for the summer at a minimum, which is what I expect they are doing.

Porro could LOVE the training sessions for as much as I care, he's not playing like it and nor is anyone else, hence why we are ... 15th.

True. Porro has been utter gash this season. He's lucky he's even in the team. He is abysmal defensively. Spence looks the far better player.

Frankly Porro can fk off for all I care. These players doing poxy interviews, they should focus on improving their form. But it all comes back to Ange. Almost to a man every players in our squad is playing shit.

Got nothing to do with Porro loving training sessions.

As hard as you try to make it some reductionist point you want to make, we aren’t talking about the same topic.
