As much as I hate to admit it, Poch had Chelsea firing eventually. Somehow built a team from a mess. If he’d stayed they’d be in a title race. Maresca seems like a massive downgrade so far.

Eventually, sure - but at the back end of the season he had 5 wins against teams, besides us, with pretty much nothing to play for - I dunno- they were pretty unimpressive considering the squad they had and still managed some shocking results for them in their last 10 games - losing 5-0 to arsneal, 2-2 with Sheff United and Burnley.

I saw nothing to suggest he would be doing any better than Maresca

The evidence increasingly suggests it is not rational to assume a "all the injuries are healed" scenario, and that the baseline level of injuries with Ange as coach is crippling high.
I think you're right. At Celtic Postecoglou often brought players off at 60 minutes in order to maintain the pace game to game (according to the BBC article that quoted a staffer there). Playing 90 minutes at one tempo isn't practical in the Premier League. And if you're a player thinking about where to transfer, do you want to play for a manager who might end your career early. Van de vyn is a good example. How many more hamstring injuries can he sustain?

We are run by fuckwits. Shouldnt be a shock. Levy has never got it.

In fairness they are building something that lasts.. Because the butchering of our reputation as the weeks go on, whilst we remain idle is damage that screws us for the forseeable.

And before the misery wank brigade pile in with "what reputation?".. We were in the super league.. However, much we may have hated it.. We were considered an elite enough name to be in that. We got in the room with the likes of Mourinho and Conte..

We may have been mocked.. But we were mocked because we were percieved as a big club that constantly underachieves.. We are witnessing in real time our reputation turn from being a big club worth mocking. To being an afterthought. A small insignificance. No hopers. No potential.

I can't see how as a top club with such a financially prudent Chairman we don't have a release clause in his contract , it makes no sense at all! We are sat in fucking 15th hovering above the drop zone, we should be able to show Ange the door and not give him a penny in compensation!!!!

I'm actually pretty shocked their wasn't an announcement of him going this morning, the people who said we don't need to worry about relegation are the same people saying we would beat Leicester.......
I’m not sure he is as astute as people say he is.

Overcooked naming rights deal, those deals no longer in vogue
Stadium late ( happens)
Stadium massively over budget ( happens but this is area of supposed expertise)
Not being willing to spend to consolidate top 4 when very much in pole position
Has spent god knows how much in poaching managers
Spent a lot more in comp for sacking managers
Same story on poaching and firing DOFs
For every Bale , Brebatov and Modric there are way more NDombele, Lo Celso and Bentleys
175k a week for Werner (twice just lol)
If we finish 15th instead of 5th that’s 31 million loss on Prem money alone ( excl loss of CL )

He has bled the fans dry to enrich himself and the odious Lewis admittedly , not genius or clever just cynical and greedy

Well that is my opinion of his business acumen at least .

here and say that I think Ange will win only more game as manager of Tottenham. The game this Thursday vs Effinburg
thing is if we win that one and avoid the extra 2 matches in the playoffs, then we are down to much more manageable levels of games. With players coming back too.

It's the only thing I can think of. I really dont think theres a buyer in the offing. Levy is hanging on for NFL or Super Lg and huge cash out then

🚨 The Cult of #Ange must be stopped now he is NOT the Messiah

⚠️ Spurs finished the game v Leicester with a lower XG than 38 year old Jamie Vardy

⚠️ Spurs still haven’t got as many points this season (and our next game is in February) as we had after 10 matches last season

⚠️ The defeat against Leicester was the first time since a loss to Notts County in 1912 that Spurs have lost at home to a side who had lost their previous seven league matches

⚠️ Tottenham have failed to win any of their last seven Premier League games (D1 L6), their longest winless run in the top-flight since a nine-match stint between May and October 2008

⚠️ Ange Is the first #Spurs boss since David Pleat in 2003-04 to lose four top-flight games in succession on two occasions.

⚠️ Tottenham conceded two goals in the opening five minutes of the second half in this match, the first time that Spurs have suffered that fate since November 1997 against Liverpool.

⚠️ PPG 1.04

⚠️ 8 wins in the last 10

⚠️ 1 point out of a possible 21

⚠️ 4 points from 36

⚠️ 8 points from the last 13 games

⚠️ 11 points from 45

⚠️ 30 points from 90

⚠️ Spurs 2nd bottom in the form table only above Southampton

⚠️ 85 days since we last one at home

⚠️ 12 weeks since we won at home

⚠️ 13 defeats in 23 games

⚠️ 9 wins in 10 months now

⚠️ Woolwich's last 100 games - 13 Losses
Spurs last 20 games - 13 Losses

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH #AngeOut before it’s to late

8 wins in last 10... il take that every day of the week!

In my experience, Levy is already out in the market for an interim manager. He won’t sack Ange before they have someone confirmed in. But he’s a dead man walking, no doubt in my mind.
I wonder if this is the case. Levy has gone behind the back of each of our managers for a replacement except with Conte where I think he wasn’t expecting to sack him yet. There’s no way he hasn’t done this with Ange given our lowly position. My working theory is that Levy would have sacked Ange already but is having difficulty finding someone who wants the job.

Fuck me...

AVB not worth sticking with...

:avbnaa:

Poch wasn't worth sticking with...

:pochwtf:

Mourinho wasn't worth sticking with...

:mourbye:

Nuno, 8 games was it, pretty meh but better than this, not worth it though...

:nunothumb:

Conte not worth sticking with...

:contehmm:

But oh no, don't risk rocking the boat by sacking the worst Manager in the club's PL history.

:ange-arms2:

The whole point is rocking the boat, no?

We can’t say that we want Levy to break the cycle and then complain when he does.

I have no time for his football decisions at all but we did ask him to stick it out with a manager.

We won't get anywhere near the final of that.
Nowhere near it.

1 Lazio - W7 D1 - 4th in Serie A
2 Frankfurt - W5 D1 - 3rd in Bundesliga
3 Bilbao - W5 D1 - 4th in La Liga
4 Man U - W4 D3
5 Lyon W4 D2 6th in France
6 Spurs W4 D2 - relegation fodder shite

Selection of teams below us -
Galatasary - absolutely fucking battered us. Should have been 5 or 6 nil.
Olympiacos - top in Greece
Rangers - have actual fans that help the team
Ajax - 2nd in Netherlands
Roma - already played us off the pitch with tinkerman.

We don't stand a chance of winning it.
And the longer we stay in it, the worse out league form will get. Well, it just flatlines at dead.
Came here to be talked off the roof

Leaves to find a higher building

I have no time for his football decisions at all but we did ask him to stick it out with a manager.

Levy has been asked to do a lot of things by a lot of people.

Martin Jol asked him not to sell Michael Carrick or Dimitar Berbatov.

Harry Redknapp asked him for Tevez and Cahill.

Poch asked for new furniture.

Levy does what he wants.

Not sacking Ange, until the window is closed, will be justifiable and the cheapest option.

That is what I expect.

Levy is not reacting to a situation.

He has set up a situation that needs to be reacted to.

This is ENIC and Levy's standard M.O.

4.5k votes and no doubt the majority are Spurs fans. Troll types not really likely to follow a Fanalyst because nobody will take the bait.

I’ll be honest, I’m shocked the majority still voted IN.

BBC website is running a poll asking who is at fault at Spurs.

Ange only: 12%
Levy: 34%
Ange and Levy: 32%
Injuries: 21%

Not sure of the number of votes but assume it's fairly sizable given the BBC website popularity.
