The profit and loss numbers in our accounts are inclusive (correctly, actuarially speaking) of massive annual depreciations of the stadium. This is based upon the previous set of rolling 3 year financials which included very strong results previous to our loss posted in June. Our PSR ceiling will begin rapidly lowering as we post future FY results showing losses year after year.
The idea that not being in Europe at all 2 out of 3 years isn't going to greatly impact our finances and PSR calculation is just a bizarrely incorrect position from a very intelligent poster.
That is not, NOT, NOT the relevant figure for PSR/FFP purposes.
Missing Europe costs revenue and negatively impacts our PSR/FFP scope. That is true. But even in a season out of UEFA competitions our wages to turnover ratio is dead last in Europe.
Using stadium-inclusive financial results to insinuate that Spurs are not THE SINGLE CLUB ON EARTH with the most scope to add player expenditure is a credibility-destroying lie.
Sorry Will, you don't have the savvy upper hand over the Levy whiners on this one.
