But but why do we always play out from the back and take risks?

Freeze that video at 44 seconds. We have 7 men forward in the 86th minute, 1-0 up at Brentford... But it was still 100% the right thing for Sarr to make that run and try to kill the game.
Compare it to the Wolves home game where we lost a lead by sitting back and not being ambitious enough to kill it and the number of times you see teams lose 1-0 leads. Attacking to kill the game in that situation IS pragmatic.
Bergvall didn't really invite pressure though, we use that passing pattern as a press-breaker all the time. Ball goes back to the GK, then to the 6 with a player behind him, then 1 touch to the CB or FB and we are away. The ends justifies the means..... however I don't like it.
I don't like Bergval inviting pressure, then going all the way back to the keeper, then *nearly* losing the ball in a very dangerous position.
Its a tactic with very fine margins and high risk. However, that IS Angeball in a nutshell. Great when it succeeds, coach killing when it doesn't.
Just because he won a single game?? What about the many games he's lost..I predicted that the Ange in mob would be out in force if we won...We got we needed ( at the end of the day ) ; as we can all appreciate and be grateful for .
We’re in with a shout for three Cups .
We might end up with nothing .
Why not give him enough
reel to the end of the season ?
We’ve already bottomed out . Let’s see if he can do anything from here .
If we crash out of the cups yet finish 15th ; then that’s job done, and hopefully our supreme leader has someone lined up .
Until that day comes ; I’ll back the only manager we have . He’s still got time and opportunities to win something .
It’s a fact .

- Spence our best player. Kept Mbeumo pretty quiet. He's so much better than Porro defensively. Every Spence MOTM makes Ange's decision to freeze him out look increasingly baffling.
Fair point. Also there's the £8m from Parrott, so that's £18 from him and Rodon. Then, conservatively:
Emerson £18m
Hojbjerg £15m
Gio £12m
Reguilon £8m
Skipp £12m
Gil £7m
Spence £8m
Richy £40m
That's an additional £120, but we won't manage to ship all those players, I imagine a few will be loans. We probably won't find any takers for Solomon either.
