You ever played football? I'm only 32 - old for many and not for some. My legs are still stiff / sore after 5/6 days.

At this level, with such fine margins, and especially after months of doing so - that's without the mental fatigue they're under.

Simply it's just ridiculous to judge them under these circumstances and all fingers need to be pointed to those in charge for how this situation occurred.

You've not just heard this from me though, you've not just heard it from Ange.

You've heard it from Conte - ohh although his football was just ridiculous anyway.

Although Jose mentioned it - mind you he's a dinosaur.

Come to think of it, Poch mentioned issues similar to this... Although he was twerking with Barca and he never had a plan to beat the top teams!
Our 1st choice midfield has been available the last 2 matches and it’s relatively fresh. Yet it’s been our weakest area of the pitch, offering such little defensive cover and attacking threat. That’s the system and instructions- you can see how badly coached we are.

The stats showed we ran more than Liverpool - we just ran around like a disorganised rabble.

What are you smoking
I understand why you would say that. But Postecoglou isn't a normal manager and Spurs aren't a normal team. He did something really clever from Day One. He has this "Big Ange" persona that really works for him. People will blame Levy and board, the players, and just about anything else but not him. And even though I don't think it explains everything, he is persistent about always bringing the conversation back to the injuries. Ironically, people have bought into the idea that because they fired three managers in a short span that they can't fire a 4th. Logically, the one thing has nothing to do with the other, but that's how people (and more importantly Levy) may look at it. Nobody wants to lose face.

A thing that stands out to me is that if a player takes the step from the SPL to the EPL and it doesn't work out, no one bats an eye.

But some Ange defenders use his success at Celtic as a big shield for him. Like it is going to guarantee success here.

The point remains that Ange isn't our worst ever manager.... yet

Even though Sir Archibald Crooks Sir Archibald Crooks would love it to be true!
If you base it purely on win percentage no. If you factor in what they came into, what squad they had, how much they had to spend and how shambolic we look then its still a yes from me. Anyway the fact we're scratching around for whether he was better than Gross or not means he's bloody useless regardless of opinion.

He may turn out to be an amazing and inspirational coach / manager .

But right now even those ( and especially those ) who want the best for him ; must have an inckling that he’s in the wrong place at the wrong time.

No disrespect to the man ; but not everything works our every time ; however hard everybody tries .

For whatever reason; things don’t seem to be working; repeatedly.

We need a no-fault divorce; and then we can all move on with our lives ( and whatever that may bring ) .

I remember last year the argument was always that because we weren’t in Europe and we got knocked out of both domestic cups early, we weren’t playing enough games to get into a rhythm.

This year, the argument has been that we’ve been playing too many games so we’re suffering with fatigue and injuries.

There just always seems to be some sort of excuse. Lots of other teams seem to manage fine, why can’t we?

So the players are giving 100% but the quality isn't there? Ohh big shock there

Think that's what happens when you spend lest on transfer fee's and wages...

Deflecting criticism by hiding behind young players and guilt-tripping fans with “These 18/19-year-olds are doing their best, don’t you dare speak badly of them” is as cowardly as it gets, exactly what I’d expect from this gaslighting egomaniac.

The vast majority of criticism is aimed squarely at him, not the players. Yet, instead of addressing it head-on, he resorts to emotional manipulation and gaslighting to shield himself.

And as for the whole “It doesn’t bother me what people say about me” Of course it does. If it didn’t he wouldn’t be scrambling to dodge every ounce of scrutiny with this kind of transparent bullshit.

Such a grifter and he’s doing a real con job at this football club.

Can’t stand him.
spot on! youve nailed him for the piece of shit he is. horrible fucking coward too.

I think it’s more fundamental than that ; regardless of fixtures, players bought or not bought, injuries etc .

It just isn’t working; regardless of how much everyone wants it to .

It may not sound scientific; but that’s often the best reason to try something new .

I get all of those frustrations my friend, I do. They're good points and absolutely valid. Which is why you should level them completely at Levy and the board as Ange is not to blame for 90% of those things.

I'm sure he has his part to play as many would, but we've seen those issues before.

Haven't we?
I guess we have. It’s quite the Groundhog Day experience.

Agree.

That was exactly brought up to ange In a press conference that last season he complained that there wasn't enough games without Europe.
Now he says it's too many, can't recall what his response was but I think he kinda blew it off by saying he was kinda misquoted about not enough games

Xavi and the Dortmund guy are unemployed.

If the are going to do it and give that new coach any time to get their ideas in play before the EL, then they need to go with one of the guys that is out of a job. No chance they are going to be able to get the negotiation done in time for any coach who is currently employed.

I doubt Mason or Wells would take it on tbh and if they did, the would likely continue in a very similar vein to how we are playing now.

Mason and Wells should follow him out the door. Neither should be within a million miles of this Club.
