Exactly. I know you are Ange Out but at least you are still cheering for your club every week and hoping they surprise you!

You'd like to think the fans on here who want Ange out would still love Ange to prove them wrong or for us to still win something under him. Unfortunately that is not the case with some posters and I find it quite sad how some posters would rather have their opinion validated instead of seeing the club doing well.
Mate my preferred option for stability is that he learns and we are successful.

Ange’s time will come whether it’s next week, next month or in two seasons. In the meantime if we win matches of things it’s a plus, right?

Had to play Kulu and Son as Johnson and Odobert only just coming back from injury.

Two league wins and clean sheets in a row now, hopefully three against Ipswich next. And more players to come back.

He’s copping some terrible personal abuse here and some of it is out of line especially daveyboy88 who seems completely unhinged. Have a lie down you dickhead

He would have played Son and Kulu no matter who else was fit!

Stop calling daveyboy88 a dickhead!

He’s very sensitive and we don’t like that sort of thing on here!

Winning any trophy with this club is a huge feat.

The fact that there are people claiming to be Spurs fans and saying they are afraid of winning one, or even flat out don’t want to win one with a manager they don’t like…. That tells me that they are fans of their own opinion more than they are fans of the club or the team.
Not that people wouldn't want to win, but if we win it, it's only because Ange failed to qualify for CL in the first place. And he sure wouldn't have won CL.
So if he stays because he wins the EL, you reward him for missing out on the top 4 spot in the first place.
He's failed at everything else this season. But you want to reward him for winning a second rate competition?
That's really aiming for the second tier. I think most Spurs fans aren't happy with such low ambitions.

Who gives a flying fuck what it means for Ange’s future at the club? We’d have won the fucking Europa League. It would be the biggest trophy we’d won in my lifetime.

I don't disagree with your assessment that Ange struggles with multiple competitions but I think it may be harsh to say our "stable level is around 9th".

Surely the available evidence suggests our "stable level" appears to be around 5th which is where we finished 23/24 and where we were in the league after beating City away which is when we lost Vicario (the moment our injury worries became a full blown crisis as Cuti and VDV were also already injured).
No because as soon as you remove the first 10 games the form goes out the window. The fact is we have lost way too many games. Even if we win the Europa League. Ange should be gone.

His tactics are unsustainable because of the reliance on the high press.

You don't think reaching the CL final was a bigger feat?
If we win EL, it's only because we weren't good enough to compete with the big boys in the first place.
Would you rather your country won Nations League than reach the world cup final?
Obviously a way bigger feat but it still ended in tears and Poch was sacked a few months later! I'm sick of being a nearly Club. I just want to see us win something to get the monkey off our back!

The Europa is a great tournament to win.
Second tier to CL for sure but it gets the winners into the CL and it’s the stuff that European failures like Woolwich would love to have in their trophy cabinet.
It would be the greatest achievement of this club since 1984..
Getting to a CL final and losing is not the same as winning a major trophy.

He's built such a following it will be hard for the team to remove him even if the rest of the season is not very good. If Spurs win the Europa League it becomes impossible.

I’d rather win an actual trophy than get to the final of one.

I know the CL is more prestigious than the EL, but how can it be better to be runner up in one than actually winning the other one!

That’s literally like putting “we came second though” in a trophy cabinet.
