I recall Vicario making quite a few point blank amazing saves during that period.
God we got the most unbelievable piece of var luck v dippers and needed an incredible og last of the gane to win. We just about scraped a win at home to promoted and then relegated SU. Luton away we should have lost if they could finish. Those 10 games masked all the underlying issues. Once the luck runs out you see what you got for rest of season and this season. You win some and you lose lots.

Source?

Most of my local Spurs supporting friends have had enough of the daft tactics that leave us overly exposed at the back.

We’ll be throwing away next season too if he’s still here in August.

Whether Ange is around for another 6 days or 6 years, nobody can deny what he has done for the club. I actually think he’s already been a success in a different way.

He’s come in and lost the best player in the clubs history. He’s inherited an ageing jaded squad and cleared out the deadwood. He’s developed Archie Gray and Bergvall who both look like they could be come elite players. He’s getting the best out of DJed Spence when no one else could. He’s changed the mentality on and off the pitch. He’s changed the football on the pitch. He keeps talking about winning trophies and whilst he may never win anything, at least he’s talking about it. Other managers just wanted to finish top 4.

The thing is, whoever comes next will just need to put the roof on and furnish the house after Ange demolished the junk, poured the concrete and laid the bricks…

I'll be honest I'm a celtic fan but have always followed Spurs mainly due to family who are die hard Spurs fans but i also loved Hoddle, lineker and Gascoigne then he broke my heart and went to them...anyway point is and know not at games but Ange is a good manager...100% believe will be successful and bet on to win euro cup...:) his biggest fault is being too stubborn with system...if doesn't have players with injurys and still building squad then should change to suit...once he has full squad and players wants think and hope be champions within couple years...:)

How do you know? He'd never been tested until he came to Spurs. Mikey mouse Aussie and Japanese leagues and then a walk in the Celtic Park.
He's come to Spurs and found that even the likes of Ipswich and Leicester are clued up.

He won in Australia and Japan with teams the subject of a salary cap, so just couldn’t buy a league. Won an Asian cup with Australia. All of these results were coupled with acknowledgment that they played the best football in the league.

He has obviously been tested. There’s more to life than the premier league.
