Why is levy giving up all that finishing position prize money by keeping him on. That’s so unlike him and what makes so little sense from my perspective. Nothing in the last 20 plus years has shown us that that is how levy behaves. So why is he doing it now?

Remember the farce of a process trying to even find a manager before we settled on 46th choice losstecoglou?

And the similar farce just a couple of years earlier culminating in Nuno?

Levy has realised that he's turned us into a circus that no one wants to be tainted by

If he sacks Angeloss , he's going to be faced with another very public humiliation of a manager search eventually resulting in an underwhelming 12th choice being appointed

I think that's the only reason why he's still in a job , even more difficult mid season and I don't think Levy can be bothered or has the stomach for it

I don’t buy that. That’s just outside noise. Every interview Maddison has been saying how proud he is of the team etc… wanting to shush outside noise.

I think he’s probably annoyed at being subbed but he should be looking at himself for that.

I think Ange is toast now and he’s had enough chances really so he’s only got himself to blame but let’s not pretend this isn’t another coach killed by the player power at this club. People can blame Ange and say he’s a fraud or whatever makes them feel better but the same happened to Poch, Jose, and Conte…. Those guys weren’t frauds and the players quit on them too.

btw we were 4th when Conte left. You deperately trying to put Ange in the same catrgory as the other 3 managers is laughable. The other 3 managers were absolutely not backed by Levy whilst Ange was backed and he's the worst performing manager by a mile.

Then maybe levy will weigh up when’s cheapest to sack him all while forgetting about the league placing money.

Im not putting him in that category, I’m saying the players did the same to them all. Conte said it out loud in that Southampton press conference. It’s not an opinion I’m offering when it comes to Conte and the squad.

With Jose and Poch we just saw those stupid PR leaks to Sami Mokbel about players being frustrated. Based on what Conte said, it looks pretty likely that’s what happened.

The issue is and always will be that players in the biggest clubs know that if they don’t perform, no matter who the coach is, they will be out of the club. Here they know that Levy will treat them like an asset and only let them go if for the money he wants or at the end of their contract. They don’t have any pressure to keep their place at the club.

Not defending Ange here but everyone had the same reasons to sack Jose before that final too. The fans wanted him gone and then when it happened there was a shit ton of revisionism after we lost the final.

Losing centrebacks true but the midfield and attack were all dreadful as well.

He’s not quite toast at the moment just at the stale bread stage. Soon to become mouldy then toast.

And the scrappy Liverpool game with one of the worst VAR decisions of all time.

We massively rode our luck in most of those games.

United could have been out of sight including a howling miss from Fernandes.
