Guys and gals,

I made an account here because of Ange, yes I am Australian. Felt like I couldn’t post here because some hard arse cunt tried to tell me that the league cup was coveted by “everyone in England”. Also feel like Ange should have left in November 2024 on his own sword when we were trying to play some ridiculous inverted counter attack football where our formation ends up 0-9-1 to justify a decades worth of bullshit neglect and an insistence you can survive 4 competitions with 23 players

I’ve also supported Tottenham since Martin Jol’s fucking lasagne episode thanks for a friend of mine I grew up with in a Jewish family that bled lilywhite to death, there’s a ridiculous picture of me with long hair losing my shit when we won the old Carling in ‘08 posted by the OzSpurs crew that went as close to viral as you can get back then here in Australia

I didn’t want Ange to come here - not because of him being up to it, but his legacy was with Celtic and should have stayed that way, and let’s be honest, we’ve slagged off every manager since Jol. First year we’re gonna win the league, give it 6 months the manager is a fraud but hey, two of them are about to win a trophy and the third is earning a fortune currently watching some fucken Yanks sunbathe in Miami

Ange’s faults have always been he is too stubborn and he sees the light at the top of the hill too much. Dropped my Aussie club in a heartbeat for a national gig, dropped Celtic for us. Australia won an actual real continental cup where we didn’t have to play fucking Tonga or Fiji off his own bat. They were known quantities though, compare those first “10 games that cannot be mentioned” with the dross we’ve had to watch, well the management hasn’t changed, that little Melbourne Heart Minn cunt that measles his way into a football director job didn’t help either given he spent $200m to save it only to sell it to Man City for about $50m, but hey whose fucking counting at the moment?

At what point though do you all say we have to own this? We’ve got cunts here saying Son is scum and is a passenger, Mickey is a fraud, World Cup winner Romero somehow sucks. This isn’t even a pot shot at Levy either, the whole club is fucked from top to bottom - to dare is to do but we haven’t dared since Poch and the one bit we had to execute the “to do” bit the same fuckheads were saying it was painful to watch the “to do” under practically every manager since 2021

Get Iraiola or Silva which keep being mentioned - you honestly think Marco would last two months when he was chased out of Merseyside in half a year with a cunt squad? Iraiola would do what Nuno tried to do and at this point we’d all be calling for his head

We had a taste of the glory, we didn’t do the hard yards. Like with Ange, we’ve built up and annihilated every single person that has attempted to fix this cancerous culture. He has to go, but fuck me look at the causes, not the symptoms

And to all the hard arses calling him an “Aussie fraud”, “fat cunt”, “go back to Greece” one of you heroes the other day even said halfway through the Bournemouth game you were gonna hit him when he was 80 - yeah you’re real hard cunts, Hope you’re proud of it

The fix starts from the fans, we need to be better, otherwise the Iraiola thread will be bigger than this
Yeah excellent post mate. I'm in Australia too, however grew up going to the Lane with my old man.
I think with the fanbase, there's a misconception that we're a big club. We're not a big club, we're a rich club, but a big club doesn't go trophyless for nearly 20 years and doesn't sack manager after manager, while changing systems of play every time
Big clubs have clear identities, from the fans, to the coaches, to the players, they fight for the same ideology.
Our club is a train wreck, we all know the problems with Levy, from a business perspective he's the best in the world, but fans rarely focus too much on that, unless it's going horribly wrong.
Sacking manager after manager is costing us how much? Our recruitment of managers, and players leaves a lot to be desired.
Some fans toxicity and delusions of grandeur regarding the club are just embarrassing. I'd say we're on par with Aston Villa and Newcastle with regards to stature.
For all Ange’s flaws tactically, he did try to change the mentality of the club.
But we just see the same insults and toxicity all over the internet.
I hope we get Iraola, and I hope things change with the mentality of the club and the respect from the fanbase.....but I said that about Mourinho, Conte and Ange...

I genuinely don’t understand the argument that the club’s decline is somehow the fault of the supporters. How exactly are fans responsible for the state of a football club they have no control over?

This idea that every manager we hire would be facing this level of criticism is also unfounded, especially when you consider how much credit Ange has been given by a large portion of our supporters just based on how he started his tenure here, if anything we are probably the most patient supporters in the league considering the shit we are being served up!

Long-time supporters have been drained by this ownership—we know Levy is the root cause of our overall problems as a club, after all, he hired Ange and this clown outfit.

But let’s be clear: Ange is a symptom of that problem, not an innocent bystander to all of this!

Right now I would even go as far to say he has been backed more than any manager in the last ten years so really, the finger should be pointed squarely at him should it not?

In over 30 years of supporting this club, I have never felt so disillusioned that I’ve actively avoided watching Premier League games because of a manager, both in terms of the shit football he is serving up and his rancid demeanour and unearned level of ego that frankly makes him look like a petty pathetic insecure man.

And it’s not just about results either—it’s about the sheer lack of quality, the absence of structure, and a team that looks utterly uncoached. This isn’t hyperbole; it is genuinely painful to watch. I wonder if he actually does anything or if he just turns up and expects them to play some brand of football that only works practically in the deep recesses of his delusional imagination, that’s how bad it is.

So yes, blame Levy—he is the overarching issue. But this new narrative of shifting blame onto the fans, a narrative Ange himself is now pushing (with his ever-loyal fan club in tow), is laughable. It’s just another excuse for a manager who quite simply isn’t good enough at this level, yet carries himself with the arrogance of a man who has actually achieved something (he hasn’t btw).

We can point fingers in every direction, but anyone with a shred of footballing sense can see that another manager would get more out of this squad. In fact, I’d go as far as to say even Ryan Mason would do a better job than this. And that, frankly, says it all.

Wait until any quality we currently have becomes disinterested and pushed their way out.
Wait until the reinvestment of funds for those players gets spent on 8 year olds who are waiting for their summer holidays.

We are a few poor decisions away from a complete collapse of the house of cards.

And yes, we're a few good decisions away from glory too.
One would be getting a competent coach and DoF.

Ok well yeah if we buy a squad of 8 year olds we will definitely get disqualified from the league so I’m with you on that.

In the meantime I’m not going to worry about that happening.

read the first couple of lines - Mate this is absolute bollocks !!! we are a big club - sleeping giant and the reason we've gone 20 odd years trophyless is the mismanagement of the current board and the failure of Levy to make correct footballing decisions rather than base everything on commercial success. I'm afraid that view is typical of a lot of brow beaten spurs fans who have come to accept mediocrity as a given...ffs. Unfortunately Posteclueless is totally out of his depth and shouldn't have been given the job in the first place.

The mentality of the club, if such a thing exists (gets talked about a lot) stems from Levy.

It doesn't IMO stem from the fans. The fans know we are a hugely underachieving club. We are that because we've been poorly run from a football perspective. But look ... Newcastle and Villa are big (perhaps not as big, but big) clubs who win fuck all too. As are Everton.

Man City won fuck all for decades before they were run properly. Ok, cheating, fair enough. But even if they'd spent a bit less they'd have done well. Man Utd were poorly run, then well run, and now poorly run. They are a big club being poorly run - from a football and financial perspective. We're a big club being poorly run (from a football perspective) too.

The podcast is getting worse by the episode... this week's gem...if Ange had Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets instead of Bissouma, Bentancur and Sarr then Angeball would work and we would smash everyone... the podcast use to be quite entertaining but they are running low now. No fault of theirs. It's what this club does. It destroys anything organic and good.
i love the pod and have to say i've been pretty surprised and disappointed at how they've carried water for the club and ange for so long. feel like T has been missed and would've called out this shit football long ago

The guy fooled all the idiots around the club (including the board) and among us fans with the line "I always win something in my second season"

That line alone made all the fools see the disaster happening in the league and yet keep wishing and hoping "we are still in 3 cups". League cup gone, and the disaster keep going, the fools keep saying "we are still in 2 cups, he always wins something in his 2nd season", we get trashed out of FA cup, disaster continues, the fools STILL come back saying "we are still in 1 cup, he always wins something in his second season".

It's like complete delusional set of fans who think this fraud is going to somehow fluke his way to a cup. It's like being on board the titanic, some people scream the ship is heading to the ice mountain, the captain says "I always get my ships to the destination safely", some people say "He always does". The realistic people still screaming "WE ARE HITTING THE ICE MOUNTAIN". And guess what happens.

Even if we get pass AZ-A, do you think we are getting pass the remaining teams with this guy? NOT A CHANCE. Another decent caretaker could well do it though. The board is wasting a real chance of winning EL with a move now, yet they are selling false dawn to the delusional fans that "he wins something in his second season".

On another topic, this fraud is taking this "EL cup" hope thing to give up on the league already. I will count from the ManC game, so he is giving up with 12 games to go???????

I thought JM's last few weeks were disaster, this situation here far passes that line.
100%. While he should have been sacked before Christmas, it's a terrible shame that they didn't act a couple of weeks ago to give us a real chance in the EL

Brilliant post. Blaming fans is just the lowest common denominator, its just a lazy way of shifting the focus away from Levy and Postecoglou and lets be honest it's being done to protect the reputation of the latter now that the game is up. If anything i think our fans have become too tolerant to mediocrity and too apathetic and i'd include myself in that.

The final chapters of most books are always the most enthralling.

This thread is reaching that crescendo. It’s been an entertaining read.
i feel like the only way to improve on this is to hire an american next

Listened to a few of them the other day to get a feel for what they are saying.

Noticed T wasn’t on any of them. What’s he up to now? Has he jumped ship to another podcast?

It's almost to the point at this stage where it feels deliberate. Don't over achieve, as maintaining it costs more and more money.

Let’s take these Australians for every dollar we can!!

This sums up the club perfectly , cheap idea to try to take advantage to make a quick buck.

Is it new ? I mean he’ll probably be sacked soon. 😂
