Llorente will go down as one of our most underrated recruitments.

Limited minutes, past his best by date, still contributed to winning games with required.

I also think that he was a unsung locker room leader with his experience as a player and champion. He set an example that the rest could replicate.
Imagine if Levy followed through and signed him from Bilbao like the rumour mill suggested.

Levy probably thought 5th last season was ok for Postecoglou as the new manager, then this season he bought into the injury excuse.

There's probably little to no point in sacking him before the end of the season for the reason you gave that I quoted above,

I still think it's either a cult or bodysnatchers.

If you ever see me going full blown Angeboi lover, I have been replaced by an alien clone.

What about the project?
:gallashmm:

The manager isn’t the project.

Attacking, front foot, pressing football is the project.

Gray, Bergvall, Moore, Odobert, Spence, Udogie, Sarr, Donley, Devine, Williams-Barnett etc with the right profile of seniors around them are the project.

Unless they rip it up and Paratici gets us some old Italian geezer who says things like “Danso is still a young player for a CB”. Then it’s all starting again and we are a joke.

If calling out a narcissistic egomaniac—one who lacks even a shred of introspection, refuses to adapt, and instead blames everything from injuries to the state of the pitch (and now, having run out of excuses, even the paying supporters)—makes him my ‘hate figure,’ then so be it. I’ll wear that badge with pride.

This is a man who has made watching the club I love so unbearable that, for the first time in 30+ years, I’m actively skipping games.

Also, the game is on Thursday you tit.

You were the one who said tonight?

You trying to style it out now that CarrieFi CarrieFi called you on it?

You aren’t really trying to pretend what you meant was that?

As for Ange…I felt the way you do much stronger at the end of Jose and Conte. Ange has had periods that felt the best and the most optimistic since Poch. I couldn’t really give a fuck about the narcissist stuff or the excuses he makes, they all do it eventually at this club.

End of the day, managers come, managers go, I’ll still be a Spurs fan.

If Ange stays, we will be title challengers next year. A decent pre season camp and a couple of experienced squad additions and the system will click into place.

- Without Salah, Trent and VVD, this is Liverpools last season up top.
- City about to embark on an entire squad rebuild.
- Newcastle will ditch Howe and go for Mourinho to take them to the next level.
- Woolwich's fan have had enough of cry baby, and he may get pushed out.
:mourwhat:

……… meanwhile, back on planet Earth….

I was literally putting laugh emojis on posts saying the exact same thing before I even wrote the post lol, there was 2-3 posters all making a similar joke.

I said tonight because I knew there wasn’t a game tonight, hence making a £1000 bet? Am I having a stroke here or something? I am not trying to “style” anything out haha.

I wouldn’t have even made the post so confidently if I knew we were playing tonight 😂.

I agree with you on the last part though, managers come and go and the club is all that matters.

The fraud's excuses:
Injuries, the amount of games, not being at the levels we should be at (your job its literally making sure they are at the levels you want us to be at) the pitch & now the atmosphere. The actual reasons- the formation, the tactics & HIMSELF.

He has shown absolutely nothing for 16 months. The squad has gone backwards. The tactics are flawed and he's just a fucking arrogant prick.
I agree with everything you've said but it makes me sad that it is a true reflection on how it's all turned out :(

Ok bro, I’ll believe you. That makes 2 of us though, me and your old dear.

I don’t know how you couldn’t see the sarcasm and context of that post? Especially when multiple posters before me already said the same thing about being “not confident about winning tonight” etc, do I need to quote post them for you? lol.

Also you really think I would be making a £1000 bet otherwise? Especially considering Ange clings to the fucking life raft longer than Jack Dawson, it wouldn’t even surprise me if we do win 😂.

Unlike Ange, I can actually admit if I do something incredibly stupid.

Come to think of it, I actually think CarrieFi CarrieFi was in on the joke and I missed the context of that, so now I actually DO feel stupid ffs lmao.

Kane stayed with us for years and underperformed in numerous important cup games.

This idea that we haven't had opportunities to win things and it is the mentality of the 'club' that we didn't is laughable and projection of the highest order.

We were in a CL final - the board, the chairman - none of them had any impact on the desire to win that game - that was on the manager and the players.

We seemingly cared enough and had the drive and mentality to get there against the odds.... This kind of argument is just a cop out for people who arent able to process a football team losing and trying to tie it up into a neat little bow that already fits their world view.
Yes, ultimately he was part of the era that was responsible for not getting anything over the line.
I think for the CL final return, had he not been out for 7/ 8 weeks i can't remember.
But lets be honest here, he left because the club could not match the ambition he was seeking, very soon he will win something with Munich there is no doubt about that.
The club has created a trophy less vacuum where, players come and then realise nothing is happening here and rest on their laurels.
Only the young players are standouts at the moment, and once they have shown enough they will either look to leave or go the same way as the experienced players, sadly a continuous cycle of underachieving.
The manager is frankly shit and needs replacing in the summer.

agree new manager needs to buy into the project, not start one
