To think they sacked Jose and royally rinsed their relationship with Conte to end up here. Down a dead end street, with no street lights, no way to turn back and with a mob of over pumped muggers heading towards them.

They will be writing about this club in years to come as a text book example as to how you go from killing your golden goose to ending up homeless and bereft of anyway forward.

See he'll get the chance to manage in Frankfurt and I'm trying not to get too upset about today's result while we are still in Europe.

BUT we still need wins, it seems like the minute one of Romero VDV doesn't play we become half the team.

we only have a chance vs Frankfurt if we can play our best 11 who are all fit and firing

First season he lost kane so was a free hit for him and deserved backing. But 2nd season is full on and weve got progressively worse. Even at school ffs you look at a graph that's declining you think theres something wrong. This bloke is useless.

I was sceptical when he joined . I boarded the hype train after the first few games of last season , stayed on board when it was clear the driver had croaked and the train was heading for a crash . I jumped off the train about 3 months ago , I wish I could explain why I didn’t pull the emergency brake a year ago .

And that’s the difference between backing the right horse with Howe and not with Mange.

Even when Newcastle had dips in form and were losing games, having periods of up and down, you could see how Howe wanted them to play, and they were moving in the right direction.

Their fans were right to back him.

Mange, in his time here has not shown anything to show us the team are going anywhere. We’re rudderless and only going in the wrong direction.

And it baffles the mind there are people that still back him, or backed him until the last few weeks when the writing was on the wall after the second half of last season.

Yeah remember that and had no interest in anything he has had to say since. I dont expect him to be Woodwood or Bernstein as a Tottenham beat reporter but a few tough questions instead of fluttering your eyelids at the incompetent that has us on for our worst season in 2 decades might have been nice.
