I dunno.

After 25 of years of watching Daniel fail to really 100% back a manager I think if you move to Hollywood, become an actor and eventually star opposite Robbie or Theron you might have a better chance.

I think give yourself a 25 year plan. See if you can outperform Daniel. Good luck.

Hopefully your wife takes the news well.

In 25 years, Robbie will be 59 and Theron will be 74.
I'll be getting on for 69.
You're probably right, but then I might have a shout.
Whether or not I could actually get it up is another matter.

Most Home Games Conceded First in a Calendar Year (2024)
We went 1-0 down in 15 home games during the 2024 calendar year, the most EVER by a Premier League team in a single year

Worst Home Winless Run Since 2008 (2024)
We went five straight home matches without a win in the Premier League. Our longest winless run at home since 2008, a year that also saw us pick up their lowest Premier League points total (52) in a calendar year

Shots Faced in a Calendar Year (2025)
In the first 11 games of 2025, we faced 167 shots on goal, averaging over 15 per game. This is more than 40 shots higher than any other Premier League club in all competitions during that period, including the relegation sides!

On course for our highest Number of losses in a Single Premier League Season with 15 currently and 19 being our worst ever (Ossie Ardiles)

Most Goals Conceded in a Calendar Year Since 2008 (2024)

Longest Run of Consecutive Premier League Defeats in 16 Years (2024/25)
We had four consecutive Premier League losses between late January and early February 2025, a streak not seen since the 2008/09 season

Most Goals Conceded in All Competitions in a Season (2024/25)
By February 2025, we had conceded 57 goals across 39 games in all competitions, averaging over 1.5 goals per game. A figure worse than all but Leicester (62) and Southampton (63)

3 NLD lost in a row for the first time since 1989. This has not happened in 36 years! But it's happened under Ange and it's been accepted by so many of you

Our worst points tally at this stage of the season since 2009. 16 years

0-0 with a part time side 96 places below us in 90 minutes. A club who literally have part time footballers working in retail

We've now lost 6 games pre International break periods. Wolves, Fulham, Newcastle, Brighton, Ipswich and Fulham again

Who in their right mind signed off on Timo Werner for the 2nd season, after seeing what he'd already dished up for us?

No wonder we're sitting in 15th or 16th! Just another example of how poor much of the decision making has been at the club.
He wasn't terrible before he got injured last season and I was dead against signing him in the first place.
He's yet another product of the lack of player coaching that seems rife at Spurs.

All these things MOTD2 pick up on can all, IMO, be attributed to players not being coached.

Up until January we had the chance to fire and make an appointment to try and rescue the season.

We're nine or ten games from the end now, top half is pretty much gone. The moment is gone.

There's no point firing Ange now because he's made such a mess there's nothing to rescue.
I would agree with you if it wasn't for the EL. This is a competition we could easily win with a competent manager who can set us up properly away from home. We can beat Frankfurt and Lazio at home no problem. The problem is going away to them teams in the second leg with no defensive shape and trying to play out from the back! We have literally no chance of getting by them teams with Ange as the coach. I'd give Mason a better chance! League is done for sure. Finishing 15th or 10th makes no odds to me bar the reputation damage its doing and the low standards we're setting

He's managed literally HUNDREDS of matches. Hundreds in the PL too. Won the FA cup with fucking Pompey.

He was always very happy to put forward a wide boy cockney image but he knows a ton more about tactics than his "run around a bit" implies. He's very switched on about which players to use and in what formation that suits them best.

Sacking him was yet another stupid thing Levy did. You only do that if youve got someone better lined up and boy we most certainly DID NOT.

Coming back to him as in interim, he'd probably be very good. We've got a bunch of good players, just like with Ramos. They were falling apart, just like now. Harry even got us to a final that season having started with 2pts from 24.

Its been an obvious solution, an interim, since Novmeber. Obvious.

He's 78 and he relied heavily on his coaching staff who are even older than he is. Redknapp literally did no coaching. This is a non starter. They've been out the game for far too long.

Fucking hell. I didn't watch the game, no way do people still think the players are playing for Ange? He's lost the dressing room 100%
Honestly if he hasn't lost the dressing room, that probably just makes things worse. Because if a manager has lost the dressing room, it's understandable that it looks the way it does. If he hasn't, why on earth are we playing so badly and lacking in energy? Also, it's not a good sign about the mentality of our players if they're accepting this utter dross.

If we got the Spanish waiter we’d salvage some league form and have a better chance in EL.

Keeping Ange is almost certainly bottom half and an exit to Frankfurt.

I’m pretty sure his Sherwood or keegan moment is yet to come.

We have done well to avoid a proper spanking due to teabs being a bit wasteful.
But ceding possession to Fulham and having not even an attempt on target in 45 mins doesn’t bode well.

Still at leat he played Archie gray at 6 which is exactly what the people wanted. Interested to see if he does that again.

I have a nasty feeling Chelsea will batter us

It gives us more money for transfers, a bigger attraction for bigger names coming in, playing better teams than in the Europa or Conference Leagues. Trouble is that Levy only considers the first point.
Does it? Or does it give Levy more revenue for development projects? We have never had an issue attracting big names. I don't prescribe to champions league = bigger players... weekly wages = bigger players.

I’m going to throw in what I believe will be a rather unpopular option 4:

If we all take our anti-Ange glasses off, he does speak very well. He has a plan that is different to other managers (presently bad different, but still different). I can see a world where he has a great deal of influence on Levy and Lange, talking positively about the possibilities of a full strength squad, flowing attacking football and using the injuries (whatever the cause) as the reason we haven’t seen the full effect of his master plan.

The only way you can win trophies seems to be spend big money on transfers and big money on wages. Levy is not going to like that, so is maybe hanging on to any slight possibility another way is possible.

For what it’s worth, I can’t see it happening and think we should go another way, but I can certainly see Levy eagerly nodding away whilst Ange charms him into more time in charge.

And you are possibly right.

I think the bloke talks well. Not after a match, win or lose, where in some respects he argues against himself because he says the players did as asked. That infers all losses are the opposite. Nonsense.

But in the cold light of it he talks with eloquence and clarity. What he can't get past is the lack of anything tangible, with a fit squad or not.

I also think there are numerous managers out there who would take on the relative limitations of the club's/Levy's model and do much much better.

It can't go on.

But at this point, it's not going to make a difference. I'd rather see him stay till the end of the season and utterly humiliate himself.
Why? This is sacking off the season? Why?

There are interims out there who might just get us through Eintracht, but with this Buck EEjit there is no chance whatsoever.

An interim might even get us 2-3 spots up in the table - that's 10m. Not shabby at all.

I'll go to EF tie with mates, and we'll do our best, but I really don't plan to go to anymore PL games as long as he's in charge. Maybe the last one, out of habit.

Forest - Palace - Brighton at home: how many pts with Fatso in charge?

And Saints - thats 4 days before the EF home tie, so with a very weak team there we might even lose that one.

I love Spurs more than I hate this guy and I really think we should be putting the team first here
