Unusual circumstances and hardly a positive addition if he was to become our manager, but we're desperate, don't have time to wait and he's leagues above anyone else we're likely to be able to attract.Wonder if he fancies doing 2 jobs
He actually said the other day he'd be happy to come back, the guy is desperate to manage us, would take him back over anyone else TBH
He got away with it for the first 10 games when employed.
Since then, he has been exposed on a regular basis. The injuries bought him both time and an excuse.
He should have gone months ago , but now, it's at boiling point. He needs to go now, doubt the club can get anyone in at the moment, but his presence is just stinking the place out.
All this manager had to do was not acknowledge it.. When asked about fans being conflicted about the game... Just say "I don't know about that. But I personally try and win every game"... and he'd have had no problem.. But he went out of his way to chastise a fanbase for doing something that all other fanbases would do. If Sonny scored the goal that gave them the title, they'd have had songs about him for decades. If someone doesn't get why that would've been an absolute disaster.. Then they'll never get it.
YES! A season in the champions league is not worth watching and living with that lot winning the league and us winning it for them to top it off
I had major concerns when he said he “couldn’t understand” fans wanting to lose. I don’t expect a coach or players to do anything but try to win the game, but to not understand fans not wanting to win told me he really just doesn’t understand English football.
I remember when we were in the champions league final and Woolwich were in europa final, every single one of my gooner mates said they would take Woolwich losing their final if it meant spurs didn’t win the champions league. This wasn’t some weak mentality spurs fan bollocks some we’re making out, this is how most English fans feel about their teams/rivals.

The week we were in the champions league final.. Woolwich were in the Europa League final.. Every single on of their fans I heard, said that they'd take losing their final, if it meant we lost ours as well. But of course of they should. We'd have made their lives miserable had we won the champions league and all they had to show for it was the europa league.. It's normal.

With all the talk of Levy sacking Ange why is Matty Wells never mentioned ,he has more managerial experience than Mason . Even if Ange does win the EL is he safe , believe Real sacked a Champions League winning manager as his league results were not good enough.

This might sound a bit dramatic, but I wouldn't be against the idea of taking a 1-3 year break from this club if we don't sign him back up. I'm just tired of how detached the upper echelons of this club are to the fanbase - everything from ticket prices to the manager & player merry go round just leaves a bitter taste.
Poch is a manager who achieved near greatness with us, is practically begging year on feggin year to come back to our club, he genuinely loves this club and brought an identity and sense of family that I'd never felt anything close from any other manager we've had.
It's time to drop the ego and sign him back up immediately, otherwise I'm going to have a MAJOR hissyfit!

That said, I have no issues with those that disagree. The Chav season grates, but we turned him down and frankly, I just don’t care. Of course, I understand that he might have burned his bridges with many.
He would work well with this young group of players and I’m not convinced by anyone else. Xavi, Iraola etc. All good names, but I think we’re such an odd club, it’s hard to see them getting anywhere.
