Fair play Shady. This is probably your finest post here. 😅
I agree , Shadydan Shadydan and I are rarely on the same train but I too fell for the Ange bullshit in the same way .I did wake up and smelt the coffee a little while ago though so my humble pie is not as big, but my slice was pretty large and unpalatable. Don’t chew it Shady just take a bite and swallow and follow it with a large gulp of your preferred tipple .

I can’t believe how many of us believed long after the evidence was there for all to see that he wasn’t up to it. If Levy manages to appoint a downgrade we know it’s wilful self sabotage , it really is the only way is up after this plank . Very very low bar for the next sacrificial lamb to overcome .

We are under this idiot manager, yes.
Which is why we need to get a proper manager ASAP and build a solid team that actually plays.
That 2-7 pumelling was when Poch was doing all he could to get sacked btw. It was only the season before, 1 season, we beat Dortmund 4-0 on agg, Man City on away goals, and had a final. The season before that we hammered Real 3-1, beat Dortmund 6-2 over 2 group games, got a 2-2 away to Juve.
Our last actual foray into the CL saw us win our group and go out 1-0 on agg Vs Milan btw. The Bayern thumping was more of an anomaly than the norm.
So getting thumped 4-0 on aggregate by the mighty RB Leipzig was an anomaly too... the 1-0 defeat to Milan (who were not on your original list of teams you would like to see us play), do you recall those 2 legs... we were atrocious and did not register a single shot on goal in the 2nd leg when behind. The team that got to the CL final (with a huge amount of luck) was the anomaly mate plus that team was at it's optimal. None of today's players would even get in that team. As we are not going to buy 11 world class players over the next half a dozen windows, I can live without the Champions League and enriching Levy's vanity development projects.

If I were a sports journo, I would find a forum like this one for each club I needed to cover, and relentlessly steal intellectual content from it's members. Almost all these stories sounds like they are ripped directly from our pages, and I've no doubt there's at least a few sports journos here doing just that.
Best of luck finding intellectual content on here.

Oh give it a rest, he’s blatantly admitted to being a cunt and a troll. He comes crawling back on here with some half-arsed apology and we’re supposed to just forget that ever happened?

Give it a week or 2 and he’ll be back to his old antics.

Leopards and spots etc..

Don't worry- at least you can now hold it over his head forever. Don't take Shady too seriously- he's admitted to blatant trolling and wind-up stuff, but then again, that's how a lot of folks are on the internet.

Enjoy the moral victory while it lasts, and it's moment is almost over.

It’s a moralistic story for the ages.

Like the boy who was always crying when he saw a wolf. Bloody crybaby.
The villagers fed him to the wolf or something when the wolf was dressed up as a woman who was living in a house made of gingerbread with a few bears. Madness.

And what is the fucking moral of that story??

Those people were on a lot of fucking drugs when they made up these old stories.

It's not just 3 points if it's a chance to qualify for the CL is it!
I'd rather watch Spurs play in the top tier of club football the following season than throw a game because I couldn't face getting a bit of shit from some gooners!
Yep I'm crazy because I want success for my team over failure for another....
so you don't understand the other perspective? that getting shit constantly from everyone around you is worse than playing on wednesdays? maybe living down under has skewed your perspective a bit mate

Listen, we always want the best for our club, some of us would rather live in utter delusion and block out the noise just because it makes us feel better and gives us a sense of buying into something, supporting a football club is an escape from your everyday life and would rather hope for a good outcome to justify why you support the club.

Ange is very convincing I'll give him that, no wonder he manages to persuade players to come to the club on the phone, he talks a very good game, he's an incredibly charming character which is very easy to buy into, I think a lot of our fans have convinced themselves that this guy was the one because of his own pure sheer belief in himself, he's definitely convinced Levy and the players even if the evidence doesn't support it on the pitch, he leaves you feeling that there's good times round the corner...

But there just isn't, there never was and there never will be...the good times only happened in his first 10 matches then it's all been downhill since then, come on let's be real...we all wanted it to work but deep deep down we saw the signs coming for a while and we were banking on sheer hope and nothing else that he would turn it around.

Who do you want as his replacement?

Tottenham’s stance over sacking Ange Postecoglou

BR Football understands that Daniel Levy has informed Ange Postecgolou that securing European football for next term is seen as a minimum requirement this season.

Daniel Levy has met with Postecoglou in recent weeks to inform the Spurs manager of the club’s position over what they expect from him in the final stages of the season.

Tottenham are aware that sacking Ange Postecoglou now would not speed up their chances of landing one of their top managerial targets, sources have told Graeme Bailey – chief correspondent at TBR Football.

TBR Football has previously revealed that Thoms Frank and Andoni Iraola are two contenders for the Tottenham job should the club eventually decide to move on from Postecoglou.

Frank’s £9 million release clause is putting Tottenham off, meanwhile, Marco Silva’s £8 million release clause is deterring them from moving for him too, with the Portugese coach also being linked with the job at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The North London club’s progress in the Europa League is another factor keeping the 59-year-old in the job for the immediate term future.

TBR Football can reveal that Andoni Ireola’s people are making it known that he does have an interest in taking the Tottenham job.

Bournemouth had been hoping to renew Iraola’s contract, however, the 42-year-old has so far put off talks with the Cherries.

Real Madrid have been impressed by his work, but TBR Football has been told the Spaniard won’t be considered as a replacement for Carlo Ancelotti, as it is seen as too early for him.

Amazing how once the fog has lifted everything he says now irritates me, I guess that is just irritation with his in my view total incompetence.

It's true, I don't see too many Woolwich shirts here. Maybe one or two a month.
But my perspective is that it's better to give maximum effort in every game, and if we come up short then so be it.
I'm sure those of us with kids all tell them to give 100% and if it's not good enough then at least they gave everything. We'd never tell them to sabotage other competitors out of spite.
But that's what some want our beloved team to do, just to prevent having to face a bit of banter!
I mean, yeah I am removed from the daily banter a bit. But how bad is it really? Are people crying themselves to sleep because an Woolwich fan gave them a bit of shit at work?

Lovely that we are replaying this, letting the release clause be a determining factor rather than qualifications

who knows if it’s true , either way it’s a shame Levy isn’t measured the same way
