Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We are 16th because of injuries to all of our Center Backs & Keepers - Romero, VDV, Dragusin, Davies, Danso, Forster, Vicario.

We haven't had a settled defense all season, and playing with advanced full backs makes us vulnerable at the back. We could ditch our system, and just revert to playing defensive and long balls - but that doesn't help with the development of the players and just leaves us treading water.

Now we have most of our squad back, I'd expect we will see better football - however there is nothing at all left to do in the league. That ship has sailed. The only competition we are now in is the Europa League.
Injuries caused by poor planning, poor recruitment, poor squad rotation, Diabolically open system, terrible substitutions, lack of tactical nous etc ...Self inflicted by Posteclueloss - will u open you're eyes ffs...

I do like the huge pressure that's on him and the players to win this Europa this season due to the circumstances. As this is what it should be like every season under every manager in that regard. Anything other than winning a trophy or getting to a final/title challenge at least should be seen as a failure and your job on the line.

no more loser mentality
You & I have the exact same mentality when it comes to this topic!

I cannot tell you how many times I've hear 'but we should get top 4!' That isn't enough for me - I then get 'you're entitled' well there's 3 domestic titles & 1 European title (if you're in the race) we should be consistently winning at least one of those a season.

I get told, 'The League cup is nothing' well, what was Pep's first title before going on with that amazing run? Oh yeah it was the League Cup! You build on successes but you have to get over the line first.

Pal, anything Ange says in pressers/interviews/other public speaking functions is vetted by the club's PR team in advance. And there's always someone from the club on hand during them events, to make sure nothing comes out that wasn't pre-approved. I know they also hound journos if they dared produce a piece that our Dear Leader didn't like.

I've spoken with many journalists, agencies and businesses over the years...and they've all told me Spurs' PR team is the absolute worst to deal with. Proper North Korea vibe.

For sure but that don’t mean every thing in the interview is PR.

Very strong rumours here in Oz that Spurs offered Ange an extension as an apology and Ange has knocked them back…wants to see improvement before he commits. Probably the right call at this stage

Very strong rumours here in Madrid that ancelloti wants out.

Analysts at RM have run the numbers and playing AngeBall they estimate Rm would have an xG of +10 every game.

Balls in Ange’s court now. They need him to come out and say he loves team Real Madrid.

Poch wouldn’t do it. Maybe Ange will?? Probably the right call at this stage.

It’s BS as well. Our FBs have mixed up overlaps and underlaps since the very start of Ange. Spence is better at overlapping than UDog or Porro but in the first season Udogie had goals and assists overlapping

Early days it was quick breaks, low crosses and chances created but these days it’s a rarity. Spence, Porro and Udogie to a degree are very attack minded but we rarely see them given licence to bomb forward and put the ball into the box. Now that Solanke is back we should be doing it a lot more often.

we've been doing this for over a year and you get numb to it all but my god this is just devastating. 9 to go and 10 points off top half, 15 off top 4, floating like a turd above relegation. never ever thought it could get this bad.
