Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Agreed.

Wtf is Ange going to do in the Champions League? Also genuine chance of relegation under this proven fraud.
Yeah we need a change. If we win europa sky will be all over Ange saying he deserves another season as hes won a trophy etc etc etc. If we do it just seems all last minute and skin of the teeth shit. If we kept him next season we could be relegation candidates. Was saying earlier to a Tottenham fan at work Ange has one style of play and limited tactics. Not been versatile enough.

We shop for bargains and sell-on value, not for specific pieces, nor for top-drawer pieces. We aren't able to support "system" managers or "chequebook" managers. Levy and the board need to understand this and work with it.

I don't think we shop for bargains at all, we shop in our market place.

That's two different things.

We will never shop in the Scouse, United, City, Chelsea, Woolwich market place anymore.

Once we all realise that we can move on.

When was the last time we competed for a player and signed them where those teams above competed with us?

Willian? Petit? And how did that end up.

We simply shop the next level down.

He's right when he says that we basically fucked the recruitment up, again you may want him gone but we clearly didn't do enough in the Summer.

That still doesn't excuse his own performance throughout the season though.

I agree. I am as big Ange out as any, I would have sacked him in the summer, but the clubs trannsfer business was shambolic.

If Ange genuinely wanted us to sign a bunch of kids, then he's an even bigger idiot than I thought. I doubt it, I am sure he wanted better quality.

In saying that, it wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference. You could give the Real Madrid squad to Ange and he'll fuck it up. He is just simply an awful manager.

Thank you for being mature about this.

Yeah 2 things can be true I agree with that.

What I find weird is folk willing to excuse the board for the first time ever just because they don't like or rate the manager, yeah I don't believe these people not one bit.
I think that's just a case of people focusing on the more immediate problem.

Ange is overseeing a squad that should be in and around the European spots in the table, languishing in and around the bottom quarter.

Once we have a manager getting this squad to play at par or slightly above, then the same people would be complaining about the board not providing a squad capable of pushing for the title.

There's currently little point in complaining about not having the best squad in the league, as even if we did Ange wouldn't have them in a title race.

Although actually, many are equally critical of Levy for persevering with and out of his depth manager tbf.

I think Ange is out of his depth, certainly with us anyway but he has a system which requires very specific pieces similar to Pep. He needs a Dominate DM, 2 proper wingers who can hold width and dribble. We don’t have that, it’s probably a mistake for this club to get a system manager even a good one as we don’t provide for it, club buys on financials (young or free or last year of contract etc) not in terms of fitting a way of playing.
This. The next manager needs to be a: able to develop youth and b: a pragmatist that is able to adapt his football to the type of players that he has on hand.

Oh no I think he did want kids. He has a stiffy for them, so to speak. As does Munn. It's all part of the "make this the preferred destination for young talent" idea. And of course, Levy must love it. Appreciation potential!

Bergvall will be well up on paper.

Bruno Fernandes.

Luis Diaz.

Eden friggin Hazard.

But hey, we stole Dragusin from under Bayern's nose then did it again with Bergvall & Barca.

My chairman.

Ange isn't talking to Spurs supporters anymore.

He's talking to future clubs. All the things he's saying are answers to questions he will be asked.

The only good thing about this is that both his and Spurs stocks rise with an EL win.

Win it and everyone gets a little of what they seek. Including him fucking off.

No reason to be pushing brain washing principles now. It's all or zip and I still believe Spurs have the playing talent to win it on a good day.

You know that those subtle digs at Levy will eventually culminate in a Conte-esque exit rant at some point. The question is when.

Regardless, it'll be his last moment of fame before he fades into obscurity. It'll even get some people here to rewrite history to portray him as some kind of a martyr that died for Levy's sins. Can't wait.

Levy sells up. New owner replaces every man, woman and child at Spurs.
Next manager comes in and wins the Quadruple.
Angebois saying it was him that set us up for it.

Once he is done as manager, he should try politics. He already know how to change mind couple times per season and how to forget what he said in the past when it does not fit current agenda.
