Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

but he doesnt get football, hes proved that time and time again. the biggest being he couldnt understand how spurs fans didnt want the scum to win the league! HE DOES NOT GET IT. hes in football because its a popular game, its not in his blood like it is the fans that would of suffered a defeat to stop the scum winning the league.

he couldnt care less about the away fans, the hardcore that go home and away and devote their lives to following the club. he just wants to be known and popular to the general public, thats why hes jumped on the bandwagon of football. hes a narcissist.
How you can be a smarmy cunt to the few thousand fans that have gone to that absolute shithole of a ground full of cunts and watched that loss, does go further to prove your point.

There’s really no energy left in the team at all, it’s frightening. Ange is not only tactically inept but his sports science is dogshit too. We completely blew ourselves out in the early stages of the season and we’ve got nothing left in the tank now. I’ve never seen a Tottenham team look this slow, especially going forward. He’s completely destroyed their legs.

a lot of that is down to being mentally beaten and not playing for the manager, not just physical.

This is obviously no excuse for the refusal of Levy and co to sack him as they were handed the chance numerous times already, but the scheduling of some of the -key- matches also did not help.

He could've easily gotten the sack in mid to late January, the time when we were getting destroyed by the likes of Everton and Leicester, yet that 1-0 win against Liverpool in the first leg and the fact that two legs were a month apart saved him.

He could've easily gotten the sack after going out on two cups within a few days in early February, yet around that time we were blessed with an especially forgiving league schedule that had us playing Brentford, Ipswich and United. That mini win streak unfortunately bought him even more undeserved time.

As soon as that false dawn ended around the beginning of March, we managed to squeeze past AZ that bought him the month separating L16 and QF. And here we are.

He's an incredibly lucky fella that's for sure.

I think even if and it’s a BIG if we were to somehow win the Europa , we won’t but just let’s say we do …….he’s still lost the fan base yes I’d be delighted his legacy of winning a trophy will remain reasonably in tact with some fondness but overall he’s lost the majority of the Tottenham fans and as we know they/we’re a tough crowd if you go against us.

This is my biggest problem.

Predictable and we’ve heard this from so many opp players and managers this season!

We saw it last night those little Triangles we ALWAYS try are so obvious and they get pressed and smothered to death!! When did it last work! It always ends up with us losing the ball in really tight corners on the back foot!

Sounds like he's grateful to Dr. Tottenham.

There's a whole lot of things I don't understand about the whole episode of this season. I don't know, maybe some kind of story will come out about it one.

I don't hate Ange. I don't know the guy. He exhibits traits that make me not want to have beer with him.

In my life I've come across people, sometimes wrongly in my opinion, that have knocked back postions believing they were not up to the task, and that may adversely affect others. That's empathy and thought for others, and not just thinking of ones self.

I've also come across those that would have no problem being the General in the next war. Making massive troop movements and sending hundreds of thousands into death zones without flinching.

All based on the reasoning they once read half of War and Peace.

People can over or under estimate their ability. It's ultimately up to someone(s), somewhere, to make a decision about, and an assessment of that ability.

He’s waiting for the £10 million pay off

Then he’ll be gone!
Exactly. Everything that is wrong with football - managers failing and been paid obscene money for it.

This is my biggest problem.

I don't think many saw it, but Sheff United basically set the template on how to beat us in MW5 last season. But for 18 minutes of injury time, their plan worked perfectly. Defend deep and narrow. Force us outwide, make sure nobody is unmarked on the 1 in 5 occasions the ball actually gets crossed and make the most of your breaks. They did it perfectly and the stadium was on the verge of booing the team off at 90 minutes.
Only fools like Richardarlison thinks having the ball a lot means we played well and deserved to win LOTS of games like that. Teams are happy to let us have it as they know if they're disciplined, they can contain us easily.

I sped this up a bit and got this

I've had a few approaches over the years for jobs where I've just said no thanks, I don't think I could give you the time at this stage of my life with other commitments.
They would have paid well, but I don't exactly earn min wage.
Wifey went a bit nuts but she's half the commitment problem lol.

This buffoon just can't tolerate any kind of abuse or criticism directed at him from the fans. All the videos of him fronting up to people. The booing of the subs obviously offended Angela last night, got his knickers in a twist and he reacted as usual. Really does think he's an Aussie Guardiola.

The guy is just so easy to provoke it's unreal.
He's like the geezer down the pub who wants to fight everyone after four pints.

Unbelievably thin skinned for a person in such a high profile job.

:wansum:

He's done regardless now, final bridges burnt yesterday. Even if we won the Europa the relationship is broken beyond repair and finishing 15th to 17th is unacceptable regardless of cups. Would be the best chance for him to walk away and try and get a half decent job elsewhere. Anyway Frankfurt probably beat us in both legs.

Levy obviously isn’t going to sack him before the Europa tie, but what if we lose the first leg against Frankfurt? If we are defeated 2-0, do you sack him before the second leg with nothing left to lose?
